CM Dhami announced to build a harmony site with respect on Ambedkar Jayanti in Haridwar

Haridwar News : CM Dhami honored on Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti, said – this honor has been given to a thought On the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was honored by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Mahamanch for implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). Expressing gratitude for this honor, CM Dhami said that the crowd gathered here today is proof that people have wholeheartedly accepted this important decision and have expressed confidence in it. On this occasion, CM Dhami announced that ‘Samrasata Sthal’ will be built in Haridwar in the name of Baba Saheb. Apart from this, multipurpose buildings will also be built in the name of social reformers associated with Dalits, Scheduled Castes and Tribes of Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that this honor is not just mine or any one person, but of the thinking that has been raising the voice of equality and justice in Indian society for years. In his speech, he described Dr. Ambedkar as a visionary leader and said that real equality is not possible until every citizen gets equal rights. The CM clearly said that the Uniform Civil Code is not just a law, but a concrete step towards social justice. He said that Baba Saheb was ignored for many years, his ideas were marginalized, but today’s India is moving forward towards realizing his dreams. Today’s India not only believes in its heritage, but is also setting new examples by taking bold decisions.
He said that this crowd of Haridwar is not just a gathering, but it is the voice of the public that is saying that it has faith in the decisions of the Chief Minister. And now this voice is resonating not only in Uttarakhand, but in the whole country. This historic decision has been possible only because of the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and our strong will. Uttarakhand is once again showing the way to the whole country – where equality is no longer limited to books, but has been implemented on the ground by becoming a law. Chief Minister Dhami said that Baba Saheb Samrasta Sthal will be constructed in Haridwar to give information about the life of social reformers, their struggle and constitution to the coming generations. Under the SCP and TSP schemes being run by the Social Welfare Department, multipurpose buildings will be built in the name of social reformers in those areas where the number of Scheduled Caste / Tribe society is high. Along with this, special programs will also be run in schools and colleges to make people aware about the rights and welfare schemes of the Scheduled Castes, which will be organized by the Scheduled Caste Commission.
The program started with a rally from BHEL ground to Kendriya Vidyalaya, in which thousands of people welcomed CM Dhami by showering flowers on him. On this occasion, CM Dhami paid tribute to Dr. Ambedkar and said that Baba Saheb showed the path of equality, brotherhood and justice to the society. Even today he is an important part of our social consciousness. He said that Baba Saheb’s entire life is an inspiration. Born in the era of slavery, he changed not only his own life but the lives of crores of people with his hard work and knowledge. He showed the path of justice to the people and struggled throughout his life to connect the deprived sections of the society with the mainstream. Chief Minister Dhami said that every citizen of the country will always be indebted to Baba Saheb for his contribution in the making of the Constitution.
