Prime Minister’s 11-day special ritual for the consecration of Ram Lalla

Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the 11-day rituals at the Kala Ram Temple in Nashik on January 12, 2024, with the completion of which Shri Ramlala will be consecrated in the Ayodhya Dham temple on January 22. He started the rituals from Nashik Dham- Panchavati where Lord Ram had spent significant time.

Shri Kalaram Temple, Nashik

The Prime Minister offered prayers at the Kala Ram Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra on 12 January 2024. He also had darshan and worship at Shri Ram Kund. The ‘Yuddh Kand’ section of the Ramayana, which depicts Lord Ram’s victorious return home to Ayodhya, was recited to the Prime Minister in Marathi language. The Prime Minister also listened to the verses of Bhavarth Ramayana written in Marathi by Saint Eknath Ji.

Veerabhadra Temple, Lepakshi, Andhra Pradesh

The Prime Minister visited and worshiped at the Veerabhadra Temple in Lepakshi, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. The Prime Minister listened to Ranganatha Ramayana in Telugu language and watched the story of Jatayu depicted by Tholu Bommalatha, the ancient shadow puppetry art of Andhra Pradesh.

Guruvayoor Temple, Thrissur, Kerala

The Prime Minister also visited and worshiped at the Guruvayur temple in Kerala.

Triprayar Sri Ramaswamy Temple, Thrissur, Kerala

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visited the divine abode of Shri Ramaswamy in Triprayar, Kerala on January 17, 2024. He had darshan and worship at Sri Ramaswami temple. The Prime Minister also watched a cultural program and honored artists and batuks.

Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the holy temple of Sri Ranganathaswamy in Tamil Nadu, on the auspicious day of 20 January 2024. He also heard a poetic rendition of the Kamba Ramayana at the sacred site where Kamban, the author of the famous Kamba Ramayana, presented his masterpiece to the world for the first time.

Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple, Rameshwaram

After offering prayers at the Sri Ranganathaswamy temple, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visited Rameshwaram, the holy abode of Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy in Tamil Nadu. They offer reverence and devotion to the Lord, who is revered as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. He also participated in various programs like Bhajan Sandhya, where many spiritual songs were presented in the temple premises in the evening.

Kothandaramaswamy Temple, Dhanushkodi

The Prime Minister today visited and worshiped at the Kothandaramaswami temple in Dhanushkodi. Near Dhanushkodi, the Prime Minister also visited Arichal Munai, which is said to be where the Ram Setu was built.
