Monsoon-like weather in May: Rain and humidity instead of heat increased trouble in Madhya Pradesh

Weather mood in Madhya Pradesh: Rain changed the color of summer- The month of May in Madhya Pradesh is usually known for strong sunlight and scorching heat, but this year a different scene is being seen. Where the heat should have been at its peak, thunderstorms are being seen along with rain.

Sudden change in weather- Due to the moisture coming from the Arabian Sea and the activation of the seasonal system, a monsoon-like atmosphere has been created in the entire state. Along with the fluctuations in temperature, humidity has also increased, due to which people are facing problems. This suddenly changed weather is a bit unusual for the people and normal routine has also been affected in many places. Due to the rain, some people have got relief from the heat, but the humidity has increased the trouble.

In which districts did it rain?- Rain has been recorded in many districts in the last 24 hours. Light to moderate rain has occurred in districts like Guna, Indore, Khargone, Ratlam, Naugaon, Rewa, Sagar and Sidhi. Khargone recorded the highest rainfall of 25.8 mm. The temperature has come down due to the rain, but the humidity remains uncomfortable. The weather is constantly changing due to the rain, making it difficult for people to predict.

Heat in the east, relief in the west- Severe heat still persists in the eastern areas of Madhya Pradesh. The temperature in Khajuraho, Narsinghpur, Rewa and Satna remained around 40 degrees Celsius. But in western Madhya Pradesh, except Gwalior, the temperature remained below 40 degrees. The rain has given some relief to the western areas, but the eastern areas are still struggling with the heat.

Meteorological Department’s forecast: The series of rain continues- The Meteorological Department says that this unique weather will continue for a few more days. A western disturbance is active near Pakistan, due to which the series of clouds and rain continues. According to the department, till May 15, light rain with thunder and lightning will continue in many areas. There may also be a slight increase in temperature, due to which the combined effect of humidity and heat can trouble people.

Temperature of major cities- Fluctuations in temperature have also been seen in major cities. Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 38.4 degrees and a minimum of 25.8 degrees Celsius. Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 36.7 degrees and a minimum of 25.4 degrees. Gwalior was the hottest, where the temperature reached 40.4 degrees Celsius.
