Minister Sarang inspected the under construction CM Rise School at Karond

Bhopal: Cooperative Minister  Vishwas Kailash Sarang inspected the under-construction Sardar Patel CM Rise School at Karond on Friday. During the inspection, he expressed displeasure over the delay in construction work and directed the officials to speed up the work and remove the deficiencies found in the construction immediately. Minister  Sarang told the officials that the negligence of the construction agency and responsible officials will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against them.

Officers could not answer the minister

Minister  Sarang sought information from the officials about the school design and the space of the classrooms. He said that adequate space should be ensured according to the number of children. He also inspected the corridor built in the main building of the school. When the width of the corridor was less as per the number of children, he instructed that the assembly area built near the corridor should be kept open instead of closing it, so that the students can get adequate space.

Emphasis on fire safety and security

Minister  Sarang directed to give top priority to fire safety in school construction. He said that the safety of children is our priority and fire safety arrangements should be ensured as per the set standards. Minister  Sarang said that the construction work should be completed soon while ensuring its quality.

The construction work will be done at a cost of Rs 30 crore

Sardar Patel CM Rise School is being constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 30 crore. This school will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, which will provide students with an opportunity to receive education in a rich and safe environment. Various facilities including 34 classrooms, library, conference room, dining hall with kitchen store, 5 labs, staff room will be available for the students in the school campus.

During the inspection, District Education Officer Mr. Narendra Kumar Ahirwar, Chief Executive Officer BDA Mr. Pradeep Jain, Chief Engineer BDA Mr. Yatish Jain, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mrs. Tina Yadav and senior officers of the district administration were present.
