Madhav National Park will be the 9th tiger reserve of the state: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh, which has achieved the status of Tiger State in India, is soon going to get the gift of a new Tiger Reserve Park. Madhav National Park of Shivpuri district will be the 9th tiger reserve of the state, which will emerge as a major tourist center for wildlife lovers in the Chambal region.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he himself will release a pair of tigers in Madhav National Park. The increase in the number of tourists in the Chambal range will provide employment and self-employment opportunities to the local youth. For the first time in Asia, leopards are also being seen in Kuno National Park of Chambal. Work is also going on on the gharial and dolphin project in the Chambal river area.

In a message issued to the media on Wednesday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has the highest number of tigers in the country, and a large number of tourists come to Madhya Pradesh to see them. Tourists visit all the national parks throughout the season to enjoy jungle safari in the tiger reserve. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed happiness over the number of tigers in the state and the achievements made in their conservation and congratulated the people of the state including the officers and employees of the forest department.
