School children will get a chance to know the diverse culture of India in National Bal Rang
Bhopal: National Bal Rang being held in Bhopal every year makes Madhya Pradesh proud in the country. This is an occasion when children from different states of the country showcase their talents in Bhopal along with the culture of their states. This view was expressed by Director Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya Prof. Amitabh Pandey on Friday at the inauguration ceremony of Bal Rang. More than a thousand children from different divisions of the state and different states were present in the program. Director Prof. Pandey said that every year the arrival of children in Baal Rang brings life to the Anthropological Museum. Children display their talent in the three-day function. The team spirit in children in the competition proves very helpful in making them responsible citizens in the future. He said that the unity of the country is strengthened by the harmonious union of cultures of different states. Prof. Pandey also advised the children to make as many friends as possible in different states. He congratulated the School Education Department for organizing the program.
Director of Public Education D.K. Kushwaha said that Bal Rang creates new energy in children. He said that the theme of the exhibition to be held in Bal Rang is Developed India in the year 2047. In his welcome address, Education Department officer Arvind Kumar Chaurgade said that on the first day, children from various divisions of the state will present dances and various programs based on folk culture. About 10 thousand children from 17 states and 5 union territories will participate in Bal Rang on 21 and 22 December.
Miscellaneous Activities Scout camp, live exhibition focused on Vision-2024, stalls of cuisines of different states have been set up in Bal Rang. The most special thing about Bal Rang is that stalls of states have been set up here to showcase the culture of different provinces of the state. Archaeological sites, folk culture, festivals, temples, traditional costumes of those states will be seen in these stalls. In the pandal of Kerala state, the girls of Kasturba School located at Jawahar Chowk, Bhopal have tried to show the culture there through models. Here the model of the famous Padmanabhaswamy temple of Kerala has been displayed. Principal Mrs. Usha Bhadauria and Mrs. Shalini Srivastava told that the festival of Onam in Kerala state is celebrated with traditional customs and special costumes. There will be many competitions like impromptu speech, folk song, classical dance, light music, group folk dance, literary and cultural competitions of the disabled, Veda recitation, dance drama, yoga in Bal Rang. The events will be held at Bal Rang on December 21 and 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
