Chief Minister Dr. Yadav fulfilled the spirit of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ in Global Investors Summit

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had said in the session focused on tourism and culture of the Global Investors Summit that the meaning of fair is to increase interaction and Global Investors Summit is an effective medium to increase interaction between industrialists-investors-entrepreneurs and the government and the people of the state. Leading industrialists, investors, young innovators, public representatives and officials from the country and the world participated in the Global Investors Summit organized for the first time in Bhopal. As per the intention of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the welcome and hospitality of all the guests coming to this Maha Kumbh of investment, the feeling of “Atithi Devo Bhava” of Indian culture came true in GIS. He thought that this event should be held with mutual interaction, goodwill and pleasant feeling and the sweet memories of the summit should become the basis of long-lasting relations. Therefore, in this global event, there was special sensitivity from the beginning towards the arrangements of transport, accommodation and food of the guests.
In the global conference, representatives from different parts of our diverse country as well as from about 60 countries of the world participated. Food is the basic need of everyone, but due to different socio-cultural-geographical environments, people’s habits, interests and requirements for food are different. Arranging food for these distinguished people from different areas was a challenge. Arranging food according to the taste and satisfaction of everyone in this diverse gathering was like giving proof of our efficiency.
Food is a medium to express our prosperity, cultural diversity and rich heritage. It is believed that food has a wonderful ability to connect people. This ability of food increases further with good taste, aroma, touch and attractive presentation. The food of Madhya Pradesh, which is situated in the heart of the country, is a symbol of assimilating new changes with harmony. Swaroochika Bhojans have the ability to create mutual harmony. The lunch dinner sessions of the Global Summit became a medium to express the prosperity of the state and cordial and all-inclusive behavior. The banquets hosted by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav were successful in bringing the industrial groups of the country and abroad closer to Madhya Pradesh and developing interest in the state in them and increasing mutual interaction.
Representatives from almost all continents including Japan, Germany, America, Australia, Africa were present in the global conference. Along with this, representatives of the business and industry world from different states of the country were making this gathering full of diversity. In the lunch-dinner session of the Global Investors Summit, food was served according to everyone’s taste and nature, representing everyone’s interest, culture and region. The food included European, Thai, Chinese dishes along with the main dishes of Madhya Pradesh and the country. Special attention was given to those who eat Jain food, vegan, millet (Shri Anna) and gluten free diet. The help of the state’s leading chefs, experts, artisans and representative organizations of this region was taken in preparing the food.
Among the dishes from Madhya Pradesh, Moti ke Daane, Dal Bafla, Ghuiyaan ki Sabzi, Singhade ki Chaat, Morena’s Gajak, Jhabua’s Malpua, Ujjain’s Kulfi, Hing Kachori, Rikmaj’s Sabzi, Indrahar, Mahua’s Meetha, Tethra’s Rabri and Bhopali Gobi Musallam were special under the Royal Cuisine of House of Sailana. Among the dishes from different regions of the country, Amritsari Chole Kulche, Bihari Litti Chokha, South’s Dosa-Uttapam, Meerut’s Rotis and Parathas, Bengali Chowme Chowme and Kesar Angoori Rasmalai were served.
International cuisine included pasta, torte, risotto, gnocchi, classic opera, Baskin-Robbins ice cream, Indo-Chinese wok, noodles, Thai curry and dimsim. Millet food included kutki kheer, ragi balushahi, millet khichdi, bajra tikki, while Jain food included dishes without onion and garlic and millet thalipeeth. Guests from different regions enjoyed the original cuisine of their region as well as the cuisine of other regions according to their interest and curiosity. The lunch-dinner session of the Global Investors Summit presented wonderful scenes of the fascination of food and unity with diversity.
Guests from India and abroad appreciated the hospitality arrangements made under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. In various sessions of food, dishes made of millet (Shri Anna) and local cuisine of Madhya Pradesh served with innovation were especially appreciated. Tourism activities are being continuously encouraged in the state, in promoting tourism, welcoming guests and satisfactory arrangements for their accommodation, food, transportation etc. have special importance. The arrangements of the Global Investors Summit presented the efficiency and capability of the state in this field to guests from India and abroad. With this image of the state created in the minds of guests from India and abroad, the echo of the arrangements of the summit and the taste of the dishes served has reached every corner of the world. This will definitely attract more tourists towards the state and the state will establish new dimensions in the field of tourism along with industry and trade.
