November 28, 2024: the Doiwala police received reports of an accident involving a private bus, numbered UP15CT-8271, near the Lacchiwala toll plaza. In response, police forces were quickly dispatched for rescue and necessary actions. The 36-seater bus, which had brought wedding guests from Delhi to Nehrugram, Dehradun, was returning to Sangam Vihar, Delhi with 30 guests after the wedding. The bus was being driven by Bablu. Unfortunately, the bus lost control and crashed into a divider due to a brake failure caused by a technical issue. In this accident, a 44-year-old woman named Manju sustained serious injuries, while other passengers suffered minor injuries. The Doiwala police have sent the injured passengers to the hospital for treatment.
