Raipur, 28 November 2024: Chitrotpala Film City will be built in Chhattisgarh at a cost of Rs 147 crore. For this, the Government of India has approved Rs 147 crore. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai gave this information in his address given in Chhattisgarhi language in the program organized on the occasion of Chhattisgarhi Rajbhasha Diwas today. He said that on the proposal of the state government, the Central Government has approved the amount while approving the construction of the film city. He said that the construction of Chitrotpala Film City will not only encourage Chhattisgarhi films, Chhattisgarhi dramas, but will also promote tourism.

Chief Minister Sai announced in the program to increase the honorarium given to the eminent personalities of Chhattisgarh honored with Padma Award from Rs 5 thousand per month to Rs 10 thousand.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working for the development of Chhattisgarhi language. Chhattisgarhi is a Gurtur language, which connects us with each other from the heart. He said that Chhattisgarh films are very popular. Chhattisgarhi films also have a big contribution in promoting Chhattisgarhi language.

Announcing the end of the merger of Chhattisgarh Official Language Commission in Sahitya Parishad, the Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh Official Language Commission will continue to promote the official language Chhattisgarhi. It is noteworthy that earlier Chhattisgarh Official Language Commission was merged with Sahitya Parishad.

In the program, the Chief Minister honored six litterateurs who enriched the Chhattisgarhi language by presenting them shawl-shriphal and memento. He also released 12 books written in Chhattisgarhi language published by Chhattisgarh Official Language Commission.

While presiding over the program, MP Brijmohan Agarwal said that to make Chhattisgarhi language popular and to give respect to the official language, it is necessary that we talk in Chhattisgarhi language and teach the new generation to speak Chhattisgarhi. He called upon the litterateurs to write novels, poems and history in Chhattisgarhi language. He said that the members in the assembly can give their address in Chhattisgarhi. He also said that as an MP, he will try to get Chhattisgarhi included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.

Padmashree Dr. Surendra Dubey and Dr. Ramendranath Mishra were present as special guests in the program. In the program, Secretary of Culture Department Anbalgan P., Director Culture and Official Language Vivek Acharya addressed in Chhattisgarhi official language. Secretary of Official Language Commission Dr. Abhilasha Behar told that the Commission has provided training to more than 2700 officers and employees in Chhattisgarhi. Till now, 1400 books in Chhattisgarhi language have been published by the Commission.
