Youth power will give new direction to national development: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s dream is that by the centenary year of independence in the year 2047, the youth of India should play a leading role in representing not only the country but the world. He said that youth power will provide a new direction to the development of the nation. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a colourful programme organised at the badminton hall of T.T. Nagar Stadium on Wednesday on the conclusion of the three-day state level Yuva Mahotsav-2025. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav launched two important Parth and Yuva Prerak Abhiyan (‘MPYP’) on the occasion of Yuva Mahotsav.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Sports Department will organize training programs under the “Parth” scheme for the youth of the state who want to serve in the army and police. There will be arrangements for their training at 10 places in the state. This institute will be self-financed. In these, the trainees will have to pay a minimum fee. Under the MPYP campaign, there is an effort to connect the youth of the state with skill development, career and employment opportunities. Through this platform, the youth of the state will strengthen the foundation of their future by honing their abilities and skills further.

The ecstasy of happiness is in the power of youth

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the mind has been filled with joy by the presentation of the wonderful confluence of art and artists, which is difficult to describe. There is a feeling of supreme joy in the power of youth. A glimpse of tomorrow’s developed India can be seen in today’s youth. A colourful dance-drama was presented by the winning members of Yuva Utsav to welcome Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised the performance given by the artists in the dance drama wholeheartedly. Along with the Bundeli playback singer, he praised the wonderful presentation of the form of Maa Durga and Chandi by the artists in Bundeli song and dance. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took selfies and got photographs clicked with the winning artists.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav observed the presentations given by the teams of divisions in various disciplines in the 28th State Level Youth Festival. The presentation of Sagar Division, winner in the Group Folk Song category and Gwalior Division, winner in the Group Folk Dance category was given in front of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. He observed the painting of Mr. Ayush Kushwaha of Jabalpur Division, who came first in painting, and Ms. Sanskriti Srivastava of Indore Division, who came second. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav observed the model of Gluco Breathe Lyser presented by Ms. Pallavi Ade of Jabalpur Division, who came first in the Science Model category, and the model of Biogas Compressor presented by Mr. Aman Dhakad of Gwalior Division, who came second, and obtained information and encouraged both the students.

Prime Minister will interact with the youth

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang informed that the 28th State Level Youth Festival was organized in Bhopal from 6 to 8 January 2025. Under this, special district, division and state level youth festivals were organized across the state. Minister Shri Sarang informed that 45 youths selected in the Youth Festival will share their views and ideas in the creation of a developed India in the presence of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 11 January 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. In this year’s Yuva Mahotsav, 350 participants from 10 divisions participated in 7 genres of group folk songs, group folk singing, painting, speech, science fair, story writing and poetry writing. In the Yuva Mahotsav, 10 thousand 500 youth participants participated at the district level from 18 to 26 December and 1700 youth participated at the divisional level from 3 to 5 January 2025.

In the beginning, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed by Minister Mr. Sarang by presenting a memento and a bouquet of flowers. Bhopal Mayor Mrs. Malti Rai and Additional Chief Secretary Sports Mr. Manu Shrivastava, Director Sports Mr. Ravi Kumar Gupta and a large number of youth and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
