Work with full potential to provide justice to the victims: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that prosecution officers play a very important role in the justice system. Court, police and prosecution together provide justice to the victim. He said that only with mutual coordination between the court, government, administration and prosecution, the victims will get justice and it will help in improving the law and order situation in the state. He said that prosecution officers should be aware of the nuances of legal procedures, prosecution work and judicial system, so that they can discharge their duties efficiently. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural session of the basic training program of more than 210 newly appointed Assistant District Public Prosecution Officers at the Central Police Training Academy in Kanhasainya on Saturday. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated this 45-day basic training program by lighting the lamp along with Supreme Court Judge Justice Shri J.K. Maheshwari, Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Shri Suresh Kumar Kait and Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court Justice Shri Vivek Agarwal.
In his presidential address, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our honourable judiciary has a very commendable role in establishing good governance in the country. Public prosecution officers have this golden opportunity to provide prompt justice to the victims and the needy with their youthful energy, intellectual knowledge, intelligence and ability. Real good governance is to ensure that the orders of the judiciary are followed to the letter. The tradition of democracy in the country has become stronger with the help and guidance of the judiciary.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that the country has seen many such occasions when the Central Government has set excellent examples of good governance by implementing the orders of the judiciary very peacefully without any delay. This has also strengthened the tradition of democracy in the country. Referring to Dharmo Rakshati Rakshatah, he said that Dharma protects only those who protect Dharma. This mutual feeling is the basic policy of good governance. Maharaja Vikramaditya had established the paradigm of good governance in Ujjain centuries ago. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we have seen this feeling being revived in the country. Amrit Kaal is going on in the country and in this era, a capable leadership is available for everyone’s welfare, everyone’s interest, to provide justice to everyone. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government will make every necessary arrangement for the smooth implementation of the new criminal laws and will also provide the necessary resources to improve the judicial system.
Chief guest of the inaugural session, Supreme Court Judge Justice Shri J.K. Maheshwari said that getting justice is everyone’s right. It is also our human right. The intention to get justice should reside in our soul, in our hearts. Emperor Vikramaditya also awakened faith in the justice system in everyone’s hearts through his justice system. The glory of the government is visible only from the improvement of its justice system. The newly appointed Assistant Public Prosecution Officer should improve his skills and work for the betterment of the justice system. He said that justice is a philosophy, a resolution. New prosecution officers should join this justice resolution and come forward to provide justice to everyone. He demanded from Chief Minister Dr. Yadav to make arrangements for proper seating arrangements of advocates and prosecutors in courts including e-court and e-library.
Special guest Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Justice Shri Suresh Kumar Kait said that prosecution officers are the primary link in the justice system. The strength of the case will be determined by the evidence they present. He said that it is the responsibility of the prosecution to bring strong evidence to get justice to the victims. That is why prosecution officers should perform their duties with dedication to get justice to the victims. Increase the conviction rate so that the criminals get punished. Justice Shri Kait said that prosecution officers should help the judges in the smooth implementation of the justice system and in the search for the truth. Only through mutual coordination will the objective of getting justice to everyone be achieved and a strong society will be built. He demanded from Chief Minister Dr. Yadav to increase facilities in the interest of prosecutors.
Special guest Justice Shri Vivek Agrawal, Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court said that public prosecutors are the flag bearers of bringing justice and change in the society. They play an important role in getting punishment to the culprits. Perfection is necessary for the success of prosecution, therefore new prosecution officers should update their knowledge, become sensitive, avoid temptation and move forward by maintaining purity of their post and conduct. He said that getting justice is both a royal duty and a virtuous deed. Prosecution officers have to understand this and demonstrate it through their working style.
In the program, Additional Chief Secretary Home Mr. J.N. Kansotia presented the objective and synopsis of the basic training program of Assistant Public Prosecution Officers. He informed that the Home Department had given a proposal to the MP Public Service Commission for the recruitment of 256 ADPO posts, out of which 212 ADPOs have joined. The training of the newly appointed officers will last for 45 days. He said that the government is committed to the speedy resolution of judicial cases and that is why the government is working fast for the capacity development of prosecution officers.
Director Prosecution Mr. B.L. Prajapati said in his welcome address that this is the basic training program for the newly appointed officers, which will instill a positive energy in the trainees towards their work and its nuances. After getting trained, these officers will present the prosecution’s side strongly.
Principal Secretary Law and Legislative Affairs Mr Narendra Pratap Singh, Director of Central Police Training Academy Mr Anil Kishore Yadav, Principal District Judge Bhopal Mr Manoj Shrivastava, District Court Judges, Prosecution Department officials and Trainee Assistant District Public Prosecution Officer were present in the program. At the beginning of the program, Chief Minister Dr Yadav was given a guard of honor. At the end of the program, all the guests including the Chief Minister were also given mementoes by the Prosecution Department.
