Ward wise electoral roll of Municipal Corporation is available for free inspection by the people.
Raipur. As per Chhattisgarh Municipal Election Rules 1984, the ward wise electoral roll of Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council, Raipur is ready and is available for free inspection by the people. The electoral roll has been prepared on the basis of 1st January 2024. If a person wants to claim inclusion of a name in the list or to modify any entry or wants to object to the inclusion of the name of any person, he can submit his claim or objection in this regard in the prescribed format (form) anytime during office hours, till the last date for submission of claims and objections is 23rd October 2024 at 3 pm in the office of Registration Officer and Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue Department Raipur, Office Assistant Registration Officer and Revenue Department Tehsildar Tehsil Office Municipal Corporation Raipur. Claims and objections made after this will not be considered. Application Form No. 1 for inclusion of name in the electoral roll of the municipality can be submitted before the Registration Officer, Municipal Corporation Raipur, anytime during office hours till 23.10.2024, which is the last date for submitting the claim. Claims or objections submitted after the prescribed time will not be considered. Only the electoral roll of a particular ward is available in the zone offices of Raipur Municipal Corporation and where claims and objections can be submitted in relation to it – Zone No. 1 – Ward No. 3, 4, 5, 15, 16, 17, 18 Zone No. 02 – Ward No. 6, 13, 14, 26, 27, 28, 35, Zone No. 03 – Ward No. 10, 12, 29, 30, 47, Zone No. 4 – Ward No. 34, 43, 44, 45, 46, 57, 64, Zone No. 5 – Ward No. 39, 40, 41, 42, 66, 67, 68, Zone No. 6 – Ward No. 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 65, Zone No. 7 – Ward No. 22, 23, 24, 25, 36, 37, 38, Zone No. 8 – Ward No. 01, 02, 19, 20, 21, 69, 70, Zone No. 9 – Ward No. 07, 08, 09, 11, 31, 32, 33, 51, Zone No. 10 – Ward No. 48, 49, 50, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56. Similarly, citizens can also inspect the electoral roll free of cost at the respective polling stations and can register claims and objections along with inspection till the last date fixed for October 23 at 3 pm.
