Vice President’s wife praised the modern education of Nav Gurukul
Raipur. Dr. (Mrs.) Sudesh Dhankhar, wife of His Excellency the Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar, during her stay in Raipur, today met the girl students of the region who are getting free software engineering programming training at the Navgurukul Institute run in Serikhedi with the help of Raipur District Administration. While discussing with the trainee students, Dhankhar wished them all the best for joining quality education with new thinking and serving the society by getting modern training. During this time, State Director of National Rural Livelihood Mission Padmini Bhoi Sahu was also present.
On arrival of Mrs. Dhankhar at Nav Gurukul Institute, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra and District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Vishwadeep welcomed her. These officers, with the help of the state government, provided computers to the girl students of the area under the guidance of Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh. He was given detailed information about the activities of this residential institute of Raipur which is being run to provide free education in software programming. Mrs. Dhankhar, while wishing the students a bright future, praised Raipur District Administration and Chhattisgarh Government for their efforts to provide a better future to the needy families of the region by connecting them with modern education. On his arrival, the excited students also presented him a self-made letter of gratitude.
Institute head Nikesh Dhruv and Raipur campus manager Purvi Saxena informed that currently 100 girl students from Raipur, Mahasamund and Dhamtari districts are receiving training for 18 months in Raipur campus. Raipur district administration is providing food, accommodation and other facilities to all these girl students. After completion of the training period, these girl students will get employment opportunities in multinational companies and will also get help in starting their own startup. Free laptops have also been given to these girl students during the training.
