Bhopal. Governor Mangubhai Patel said that cleanliness starts from our home. The first school of cleanliness is our home. Therefore, the process of giving cleanliness values to children has to be started from our home itself. We all should learn from Mahatma Gandhi and include cleanliness in our daily routine. Governor Shri Patel was addressing the “Swachhata Hi Seva” fortnight program organized in Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium. In the program organized in Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium under the chief hospitality of Governor Shri Patel and chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada 2024 and Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras were launched in 50 district hospitals of the state. On this occasion, the Governor and the Chief Minister inaugurated the exhibition focused on the awards received by Madhya Pradesh in the field of cleanliness by cutting the ribbon. At the beginning of the program, the tune of the national anthem Jana-Gana-Man was presented by the police band. Governor Shri Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.
Governor Shri Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released the film of Madhya Pradesh focused on the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign. In the program, a short film of the Central Government was screened on the outline of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. A short film based on the “Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras” being started in district hospitals was also screened. Governor Shri Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav were presented play cards by the Indian Red Cross Society. The Governor and the Chief Minister felicitated the Safai Mitras and distributed incentives and cleanliness kits. Governor Shri Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released an amount of Rs 4 crore to Bhopal Municipal Corporation, which received a five-star rating in the Swachhata Survey – 2023, with a single click. This amount will be given as an incentive to 8116 Safai Mitras of Bhopal Municipal Corporation at the rate of Rs 5,000 each. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya and State President and MP Shri V.D. Sharma were present in the program.
Governor Shri Patel congratulated Indore city for being the leader in cleanliness for 7 consecutive years. He appreciated the tireless and continuous hard work of the sanitation workers of Indore for this achievement. The Governor congratulated the people of Indore for their enthusiastic participation in the habit of cleanliness and cleanliness activities.
Jan Aushadhi Kendra is a special initiative of the Prime Minister for the poor
Governor Shri Patel said that Jan Aushadhi Kendra is a special initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the poor. He congratulated the people of the state on the launch of Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendras in all 50 district hospitals of the state on the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Modi’s birthday. Governor Shri Patel said that due to minimum price and quality medicines, the medicine centers are in the economic interest of the poor. Governor Shri Patel appealed to everyone to tell the poor and needy around them as much as possible about the generic, affordable medicines and financial savings available at Jan Aushadhi Kendra. He also asked the doctors to definitely inform the patients about the facilities and benefits of Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendras while treating them.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that providing facilities to make the life of the people easier is the biggest and memorable gift to be given to Prime Minister Shri Modi. On the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras being started in all 50 hospitals of the state and the Griha Pravesh being done in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will improve the standard of living of the common man of the state. The state government is also committed to the welfare of Safai Mitras. This work being done for the common man is a birthday gift to Prime Minister Shri Modi.
Garbage-free city star certification will be the basis for providing funds to Safai Mitras
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also announced to provide funds to urban bodies as an incentive to Safai Mitras working in urban bodies for their contribution. In Swachhta Survey-2024, funds will be provided to Safai Mitras on the basis of garbage-free city-star certification to urban bodies. As many stars are received by the urban bodies in the ranking, that many thousand rupees will be given to all the Safai Mitras working in them, that is, all the Safai Mitras of an urban body receiving one star will be given one thousand rupees each, urban bodies can get ranking up to seven stars.
