State boundaries are not a hindrance in public welfare: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that state boundaries should not become a hindrance in the welfare of common citizens. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also has the same resolve. To fulfill the resolve of the Prime Minister, he paved the way for the solution of the important Ken-Betwa river linking project and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal link project. The inter-state Ken-Betwa river linking project is India’s first river linking project. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the pending cases of approval of Parvati Chambal Kalisindh project between Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan for 20 years have now been approved. With these approvals given by the Central Government, the pace of development will accelerate in a large area of the state. The Madhya Pradesh government will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling the resolve of Prime Minister Shri Modi for rapid development. The Ken-Betwa project will provide irrigation and water facilities to citizens and farmers on a large scale in Bundelkhand. This project will create history. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the 69th Foundation Day celebrations of Madhya Pradesh at Ravindra Sabhagam today.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a long journey has been covered from the foundation year 1956 till now. This year Rajyotsav and Deepotsav have come together. A four-day Foundation Day celebration and a five-day Deepotsav are being held in the state. Madhya Pradesh is fortunate in this matter that Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram spent most of his time in Chitrakoot. Lord Krishna also came to Ujjain on the land of Madhya Pradesh to receive education. Madhya Pradesh is also blessed by nature. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that if we look at the origin of Ganga from the Himalayas and the water amount of other rivers, then more water flows from Narmada along with Son, Chambal, Tapti etc. Madhya Pradesh is like the motherland of rivers. It is both a wonder and a blessing for the country. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there is abundance of minerals in the state. The boundaries of 55 districts in the state will be redrawn. Along with the boundaries of the districts, the boundaries of the divisions will also change. In the last 68 years, the work related to reorganization has not been done at this level in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government will leave no stone unturned in the matter of development.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that till the year 2005, there were only 5 medical colleges in the state, whose number has now increased to 20. Prime Minister Mr. Modi has recently inaugurated 3 new medical colleges in the state. In the coming 2 years, the number of medical colleges will increase to 28. He said that work is also being done on the PPP model, due to which there will be 40 medical colleges in the state. In the coming time, there will be a medical college in every district.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the citizens present on the foundation day of Madhya Pradesh and Deepotsav and called upon them to enjoy the musical program being organized under the direction of playback singer Mr. Ankit Tiwari, Mumbai. Singer Ms. Suhasini Joshi presented the Madhya Pradesh song. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the film centered on Madhya Pradesh by the Tourism Department by pressing the button on the remote. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honoured singer Shri Ankit Tiwari with a shawl and coconut. Principal Secretary Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla greeted the citizens and thanked them for enthusiastically participating in the programme.
On this occasion, Sports and Youth Welfare, Cooperative Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Minister Smt. Krishna Gaur, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy (Independent Charge) Shri Lakhan Patel, MP Shri V.D. Sharma, MP Shri Alok Sharma, MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Shri Vishnu Khatri, Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, former Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary, Shri Sumit Pachauri, Additional Chief Secretary Shri S.N. Mishra, public representatives and a large number of citizens were present.
Playback singer Ankit Tiwari entertained with songs
On this special evening of the Foundation Day celebrations, famous playback singer Ankit Tiwari, as soon as he came on the stage, accepted the greetings of the audience and wished them Happy Diwali and Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day. Ankit first presented the song “Lagta Hai Dil Teri Shamat Aayi Hai…”. After this, he created a melodious world in the auditorium by presenting the popular songs “Tu jo hai to main hun…. and Tum se hi….” Further in the presentation, he presented “Sanam teri kasam…. and Jugni….” and cast a spell on the audience. After this, a melodious relationship was established between Ankit and the audience and the series of songs continued. He made the evening spectacular with popular songs like Battameez…., Sada haq…, Khairiyat…., Tu hi haqeeqat…, Boond boond…, To fir aao…, Tu hai ki nahi…. He presented the next popular song Sun raha hai na tu… and added more glory to the Foundation Day evening. After this, he presented Sayoni…., Ankhiyan udeek…, Pathan… and concluded the presentation by presenting the song Teri galiyan….
