Indore Kidnapping Case: Cloth Merchant Abducted, Kidnappers Demand ₹3 Lakh for Release

Indore: A shocking case of kidnapping has surfaced in the Aerodrome area of the city. The kidnappers have demanded ₹3 lakh for the release of a cloth merchant. The police have registered a case against unidentified criminals and are investigating based on bank account details and mobile numbers. According to DCP Zone-1 Vinod Kumar Meena, a woman named Aarti Jain arrived at the police station on Tuesday with her daughter Ayushi and son Paras, reporting the incident. She told the police that her husband, Pawan Jain, had left for Jaipur on the morning of February 19 around 10:30 AM.

She further explained that they had been in touch with him daily on two mobile numbers. However, on Tuesday around 11 AM, she received a call from her husband’s phone. The kidnappers allowed her to speak with him and then informed her that he had been abducted. They demanded ₹3 lakh for his release and even threatened to kill him if the amount wasn’t paid. The kidnappers provided a bank account number and instructed Aarti to deposit the money there. According to the police, Pawan is originally from Pachore in Rajgarh district, and his location was also traced to Pachore. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are actively working to resolve the case.
