Raipur. Swachhta-Pakhwada is being organized by Indian Railways from 01 to 15 October 2024 under Swachh-Rail Swachh-Bharat. Today, Divisional Railway Manager, Shri Sanjeev Kumar, along with officers and employees, did Shramdaan in the Divisional Railway Manager Office premises in Raipur Railway Division, cleanliness awareness message was given through street play in the stations of Raipur Railway Division. On this occasion, officers and employees including Additional Divisional Railway Manager were present in large numbers.
A live presentation of street play by the children of Scout-Guide at Raipur Railway Station gave the message of cleanliness awareness by telling the passengers about the ill effects of spreading garbage or dirt. Residents and passengers of colonies were motivated for cleanliness awareness in all the major stations and railway colonies of the division. Officers and employees participated enthusiastically in all the units of Raipur Railway Division, PP Yard, Electric Loco Shed, Diesel Shed, Gardens built at Railway Stations of Raipur Railway Division, Circulating Area, Coaching Depot Durg and did Shramdaan.
In the Swachhta Pakhwada organized from 01 to 15 October 2024, a special appeal will be made to the railway passengers to maintain cleanliness and hygiene under the “Meri Seat Mera Dabba” campaign during the journey. In this Swachhta Pakhwada, various programs are being organized in all the stations and trains of South East Central Railway according to the theme of each day. Mass cleanliness pledge and cleanliness awareness on October 01, 2024, celebration of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Clean India Day on October 02, 2024, Clean Station on October 03 and 04, 2024, Clean Train on October 05 and 06, 2024, Clean Track on October 07, 2024, Clean Railway Premises (Clean Workplace and Clean Residential Premises) on October 08, 2024, Clean Food on October 09 and 10, 2024, Clean Water on October 11, 2024, Clean Cosmetics and Clean Environment on October 12, 2024, Clean Competition on October 13, 2024, No Single Use Plastic on October 14, 2024, Review and Clean Awareness Rally on October 15, 2024 will be carried out on these themes.
