Prepare an action plan for purification of Kshipra river before Simhastha 2028: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav
Bhopal. In view of Simhastha 2028, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has asked the concerned officials of Indore, Ujjain and Dewas to prepare an action plan to keep the Kshipra River clean, in order to make the water of Kshipra River clean and fit for drinking. Instructions were given to build stop dams at various places to stop dirty water.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was addressing the high level meeting organized in connection with the development work of Simhastha 2028 and purification of Kshipra to be held in Ujjain today. He instructed the Divisional Commissioners and Collectors of Indore and Ujjain divisions to prepare action plans. The Chief Minister said that if necessary, the works of Mahakal Lok Phase-3 will also be started. He directed to make detailed action plans to ensure all arrangements at the ghats from the origin of Shipra to the termination point.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the country’s biggest Kumbh Mela, Sihastha, is held in Ujjain once in 12 years when Jupiter enters Leo. Sadhus, saints, Mahamandaleshwar, distinguished citizens and common devotees participate in large numbers in the fair. Organizing Simhastha is a proud moment not only for Ujjain but also for the country.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that apart from Ujjain, Simhastha fair is also spread in Indore, Dewas, Omkareshwar Dada Dhuniwale, Pashupatinath Temple, Baglamukhi Temple. There is participation of general public everywhere. When devotees come, feel proud in the fair. Instructions were given to plan Sihastha 2028 on the advice of saints and make action plans only after their consultation.
Expressing his displeasure over the diversion planning of Rs 99 crore made to stop the dirty water of Kanh River in Kshipra, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that such a plan should be made at once so that the water of Kshipra becomes potable and potable. Responsibility of officials will be fixed for wrong planning. He said that under Namami Gange Project, necessary budget will be demanded from the Central Government for purification of Kshipra. He asked the officials to contact the Union Water Resources Ministry for guidance.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that like always, this time too the Simhastha Fair will be organized according to the glorious Sanatan tradition. For this, along with purification of Kshipra river, widening of the road to reach Mahakal temple of Ujjain, planning of alternative route to reach the temple, power station, airstrip expansion, museum, arrangement for accommodation of passengers, vehicle parking etc. Development works will be completed.
The Chief Minister said that arrangements for alternative routes will also be ensured for crowd management. Vehicle parking, pure drinking water and good accommodation arrangements will also be made.
Estimate of 12 crore devotees in Simhastha 2028
It was told that 12 crore devotees are expected in Simhastha 2028. All basic needs will be arranged for this. 9 stop dams will be built in Indore to stop dirty water from drains in Kshipra river. The Chief Minister said that these 9 stop dams will be built wherever dirty drain water is flowing into Kshipra. Ghats of various temples, Valmiki Ghat, Siddhavat, Kaal Bhairav, Siddhanath etc. will also be expanded. Wherever the saints live, those ghats will be expanded on priority, and necessary basic needs will be arranged in the fair area also.
Regarding effective action on crowd control, the Chief Minister said that apart from Mahakal Temple, necessary plans will be made to manage the crowd at Ram Janardan Temple, Siddhanath, Kaal Bhairav where the satellite tower is also located. Dr. Yadav said that it is not appropriate to put the burden of crowd on a single road, for this four to five alternative routes will also be made. He also gave instructions for beautification of major intersections and widening of Hari Fatak Bridge. Also said that there should be better road connectivity from Biabani intersection to Insurance Hospital and from the hospital to Koyla Phatak. There should be road connectivity from MR to Bada bridge. Apart from this, Dhaba Road should also be widened. The Chief Minister said that the routine work already going on from KD Gate to the exit intersection continued.
If people of different religions want to build a Dharamshala in Ujjain, then full facilities will be provided to them. He said that wherever there are good ghats, better arrangements for bathing of devotees will also be ensured. The Chief Minister said that now there should not be any mistake in any work plan, all the plans should be 100 percent successful. He said a decision will be taken on Parvati Kali Sindh River Link Scheme.
