Positive and concrete efforts should be made in every district to promote industry and investment: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the government’s policy is to provide maximum employment to people at the local level. For this, the state government will provide full support to industrialists for the development of industries and investment promotion. Markets will be provided to promote small industries. Every possible effort should be made to increase the major regional industries of Sagar division like brass, incense sticks, food industries, tourism, bidi and furniture industry. Our effort is to double the business of industrialists. He said that positive and concrete efforts should be made in every district to promote industry and investment. The Chief Minister said that there will be no lack of encouragement and support to the people for industry and investment. Possibilities of doing different work should be explored in every district. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was discussing with the public representatives, industrialists and administrative officers of the division regarding the Regional Industry Conclave to be held in Sagar on 27 September at Samatva Bhavan through video conferencing (virtually).
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under “One District-One Product”, special attention should be paid to the products of the region. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed with LN Chaturvedi of M/s Meenakshi Metals, Rahul Jain of M/s Parasnath Glass Tuff Pvt. Ltd. Sagar, Arpit Agarwal of M/s Inspirit Industries, Semi-Urban Industrial Institute Village Gaurgain, Chhatarpur, Manish Jain of MRP Agro Ltd. Tikamgarh, Santosh Suri of Yogya Equipment Pvt. Ltd. Niwari, Rakesh Agarwal of Khajuraho Pulses Niwari, Manoj Kesharwani of Hotel Mohan Raj Vilas Panna and took suggestions. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also directed to work in the field of education in Sagar division.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the Collectors and Commissioners that there should be no obstacles in the arrangements for the Conclave. He took information regarding industry expansion and investment possibilities in all the districts. The Chief Minister directed to prepare an action plan by holding detailed discussions with local public representatives and industrialists. Those who are working from wherever they are with the present resources should be given help. Work should be started by doing homework on the possibilities of setting up toys, milk products, flour mill, rice mill etc. Work should be done by connecting self-help groups. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he will attend the Regional Industry Conclave on 27 September in Sagar.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Panna is also included in Rampath Gaman and Krishna Patheya. No stone will be left unturned in the development of this area. The state government will make suitable arrangements for the cutting of diamonds found in Panna. Niwari MLA Shri Anil Jain said that there are immense possibilities of tourism in Orchha, better arrangements for food and accommodation for tourists here will further promote tourism.
In the meeting, local public representatives and industrialists gave suggestions regarding the possibilities of industry and investment in their respective districts. MLA Shri Shailendra Jain suggested that the price of incense sticks increases if bamboo is brought from outside for the incense stick industry, hence efforts should be made to produce quality bamboo locally. He said that after the Nauradehi Sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve, the number of tourists has increased. He suggested that proper arrangements for accommodation and food should be made for tourists around this area. MLA from Panna district Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh said that after the buffer zone was declared, many mines here have gone into the buffer zone. It was suggested to identify some areas for mines.
