PHE Minister and Minister of State for Rural Development held a “Swachhata Samvad” with 400 sisters of livelihood group in Singrauli
Public Health Engineering and Minister in charge of Singrauli district Sampatiya Uike and Minister of State for Panchayat and Rural Development Radha Singh held a special dialogue on cleanliness with about 400 sisters of rural and urban group at Atal Complex in Singrauli on Thursday under the “Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan”. During this, they also reviewed the efforts being made by the sisters of livelihood group in the district.
In the program, Minister Mrs. Uike interacted with rural and urban livelihood group women under Swabhav Swachhata Sanskar Swachhata. She has appealed to the livelihood group to contribute to the cleanliness campaign by doing shramdaan in schools, hospitals, public places etc. in their areas.
While addressing the program, she said that we have to work together through livelihood group. She praised the products of the self-help group. She inspired them to become self-reliant by linking the products to the market.
He said that under the Ladli Behna Yojana of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, women are being provided benefits, while the Central and State Government are running many public welfare schemes for the economic development of women.
He was made to visit the stalls of products made by livelihood groups in the district, soap, phenyl, broom, mosquito net etc. He visited the stalls of products made from Shri Anna, Kodo, Kutki and other products produced by the groups, spices, handloom products, Madhubani painting and other general goods. Products were also presented to both the ministers by the sisters of the group.
