Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is moving towards becoming the best country in the world. Our government is working for the welfare of all sections. Youth, poor, farmers and women are our special priority. Madhya Pradesh is continuously working at a fast pace to become the best state in the country.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a huge gathering at the inauguration and foundation stone laying program of development works in Lateri (Vidisha) on Saturday. He inaugurated/laid the foundation stone of development works worth more than Rs 132 crore for the region. These include Bhoomi Pujan of 54 development works worth Rs 80 crore 16 lakh and inauguration of 198 development works worth Rs 51 crore 96 lakh. The Chief Minister also distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes. A short film was also screened at the program on making 505 hectares of charnoi land encroachment free in Vidisha district.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to the efforts of our Prime Minister Shri Modi, the Bhagirath of the modern era, the state has got two big irrigation projects in the form of Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal link projects. This will provide irrigation and drinking water facilities in a large area not only in Bundelkhand but also in Malwa and Chambal region. Water will be available to 360 villages of this region too. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our aim is to provide water to every farmer’s field. The life of the farmer will change with water coming to every field. We are going to leave Punjab and Haryana behind in agricultural production.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state is developing at a rapid pace in all areas like agriculture, animal husbandry, education, health, industry, employment etc. Prime Minister Shri Modi is determined to provide a permanent house to every poor. Treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is free under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. The government is continuously working to increase industry and employment. Investment proposals worth crores have been received in the Investors Summit held in Ujjain, Sagar, Rewa, Jabalpur and Gwalior. For the youth, the government is soon going to recruit one lakh government and about 3 lakh posts in the private sector.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that always remember the importance of education. Give good education to children, the government is making all the arrangements for education. PM Excellence Schools are being opened in 55 districts of the state. To provide good transport facilities to the poor, the government is going to restart Madhya Pradesh State Transport.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government is promoting animal husbandry along with agriculture. The one who rears a cow is Gopal and the place where there is a cow clan is Gokul. The government is going to give bonus on milk production and subsidy will be given for rearing more than 10 cows. A large number of Gau-Shalas are being built in the state. All the places where Lord Krishna had visited on the land of the state are being developed as pilgrimage sites. Lord Krishna received education in Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain, he got Sudarshan Chakra in Janapav. Narrating the story of friendship between Krishna and Sudama, he said that true friendship is when a friend helps another friend without coming in front of the other.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav assured to make special efforts for railway line in the area. He also announced to open a government college in Anandpur.
Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister (Independent Charge) and Minister in charge of Vidisha district, Shri Lakhan Patel said that due to the continuous efforts of the government, the area under irrigation is increasing rapidly in the state. Due to the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, two river linking projects of the country have been started in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is working as the messiah of the farmers. Our resolution is to irrigate the entire state. MP Smt. Lata Wankhede also addressed the gathering. MLA Shri Umakant Sharma put forth several demands for the development of the region. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav assured to fulfill them.
