MS Dhoni reached Ranchi amid speculations of retirement

Mahendra Singh Dhoni returned to his hometown Ranchi on Sunday after Chennai Super Kings’ exit from the IPL 2024 tournament. The defending champions’ campaign ended with a defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday. A video of Dhoni reaching Ranchi airport is going viral on social media, in which Dhoni is seen leaving the airport and sitting in his car.

Dhoni scored 25 runs in 13 balls with the help of three fours and a six against Bengaluru on Saturday. Seeing him bat, it seemed that he still has the ability to bat and hit long shots.
The 42-year-old wicketkeeper, who led Chennai Super Kings to five IPL titles under his captaincy, is believed to have played his last match against RCB. However, at present these things are only speculations. Neither Dhoni himself nor CSK has given any statement.\
