MLA flagged off Rath Yatra Special Train from Raipur to Puri

Raipur. The first round of unreserved Rath Yatra Special Train from Raipur to Puri was operated from platform number 7 of Raipur Railway Station. Honorable MLA Raipur North Purandar Mishra flagged off the unreserved Rath Yatra Special. He wished the passengers going to Puri to have darshan of Mahaprabhu Jagannath ji and witness the world famous Rath Yatra for a safe journey. On this occasion, Divisional Railway Manager Sanjeev Kumar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Awadhesh Kumar Trivedi and senior officials of Raipur Railway Division were present.

The fare of unreserved Rath Yatra Special from Raipur to Puri is only Rs 125, in this train any passenger can sit in any coach of the train by taking a ticket. Getting the facility of this train will help in reducing the extra crowd in trains during Rath Yatra and the devotees going to have darshan of Shri Jagannath ji will be able to travel easily.

Now this train will leave from Raipur with number 08383 on 14th July 2024 at 06.00 am and will reach Puri at 23.00 pm. Similarly, it will leave from Puri with number 08384 on 08th and 16th July 2024 at 02.45 am and will reach Raipur at 16.00 pm. This train will run with 18 coaches.

The commercial stoppages of this train are given at Raipur, Mandir Hasaud, Mahasamund, Bagbahara, Khariar Road, Noapara Road, Harishchandra Road, Kantabhanji, Muri Bahal, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Rupra Road, Narla Road, Lanjigarh Road, Ambadola, Muniguda, Bissam Cuttack, Therubali, Singarpur Road, Rayagada, Parvatipuram Town, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Vijayanagaram, Chipurupali, Sigadam, Ponduru, Srikakulam Road, Tilaru, Kotabomli, Naupada, Palasa, Mandasa, Sompeta, Ichhapuram, Brahmapur, Chhatarpur, Ganjam, Khalikotti, Balugaon, Kaluparaghat, Nirakarpur, Kaipadar Road, Argul and all stations between Haripurgram and Puri.
