Historic investment in road infrastructure, MoUs worth Rs 1 lakh crore signed

On the first day of Global Investor Summit-2025 held in Bhopal, in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, a historic MoU of Rs 1 lakh crore was signed between the state government and the National Highway Authority. Through this, about 4010 km long road projects will be constructed and developed. Additional Chief Secretary Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Managing Director of MPRDC Shri Bharat Yadav and Regional Officer of NHAI Shri S.K. Singh were also present on this occasion.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav assured to provide all possible help to complete the construction projects of NHAI within the stipulated time frame. At the same time, Public Works Minister Mr. Singh called this MoU a historic step for the road infrastructure development of Madhya Pradesh and expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this. The MoU was signed by Regional Officer Mr. S.K. Singh on behalf of NHAI and Managing Director Mr. Bharat Yadav on behalf of MPRDC.
The MoU will strengthen the road infrastructure and also create new employment opportunities. Under this agreement, several important road projects will be developed including Indore-Bhopal Greenfield High Speed Corridor, Bhopal-Jabalpur Greenfield High Speed Corridor, Prayagraj-Jabalpur-Nagpur Corridor, Lakhnadon-Raipur Expressway, Agra-Gwalior National Highway, Ujjain-Jhalawar National Highway, Indore Ring Road (Western and Eastern Bypass), Jabalpur-Damoh National Highway, Satna-Chitrakoot National Highway, Rewa-Sidhi National Highway and 4-lane bypass on the western edge of Gwalior city.
