Government’s support and public’s support is the basis of industrial development in Future Ready Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that to facilitate investment in Madhya Pradesh, an industry office of Madhya Pradesh will be opened in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This office will work as a bridge to increase trade and business between Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Invest MP- Interactive Session in Coimbatore. He said that one of the objectives of the Investor Summit is also that different states should come closer to each other on the basis of trade and business and we should work together with determination towards making India the number one country in the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The industrialists here have established Coimbatore and Tripura as industrial hubs on their own strength, now Madhya Pradesh is calling you, we have come here with the aim of giving you new opportunities to increase business and to strengthen the relations between Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu by sharing love. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the “Invest MP-Interactive Session” organized in Coimbatore, the major industrial center of South India, by lighting a lamp and offering water to the Tulsi plant.

Coimbatore is known for industrial sectors like textile and garment, engineering and information technology. To encourage investment and industrial activities in the state, a road show and interactive session with investors and industrialists were organized in Coimbatore with the aim of inviting industrialists of Tamil Nadu to the Global Investor Summit to be held in Bhopal. More than 1200 delegates participated in the session and proposals of more than Rs 3500 crore were received for investment in Madhya Pradesh.

To give priority to investment promotion, the year 2025 will be celebrated as the Industry Year

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that textile and garment industry, automobile and engineering industries are also developing rapidly in Madhya Pradesh. There are immense possibilities in these areas in Madhya Pradesh. This is the most appropriate time for industrialists to take their business to new heights by investing in Madhya Pradesh. Every aspect of investment in Madhya Pradesh has been taken care of. Madhya Pradesh is a future ready state, here there is the support of the government and the public along with possibilities. To make the Amritkaal of independence the Bhagyodayakal of Madhya Pradesh, we are working on the vision of making the industries of the state a part of the global supply chain. The state government is constantly striving for the establishment and development of industries in the state. In this direction, a new initiative of investment promotion has been started in every region of the state through Regional Industry Conclave.

Tamil Nadu industrialists should become a part of the investment revolution going on in the state

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Global Investors Summit will be organized in Bhopal on 7-8 February 2025. State’s eco-system is extremely conducive for textile industry

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state’s eco-system is extremely conducive for textile industry. To attract large-scale garment industries, the special readymade garment policy implemented in the state has provision for financial assistance up to 200 percent of fixed capital investment. To prepare human resources in accordance with the changing needs of the textile industry, a state-of-the-art skill development center is being started in Jabalpur city and an MoU has also been signed with Tirupur Export Association to assist in skill and cluster development. Madhya Pradesh is providing the best financial benefit package to the textile and garment industry in the country. He said that due to availability of cotton, cheap land and attractive financial benefits, big textile companies of the country are being attracted towards Madhya Pradesh. It is a matter of pride that PM Mitra Integrated Mega Textile Park has been approved in Dhar district of the state.

Automobile engineering, electric vehicles and electric vehicle components are among the focus sectors of the state government.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that more than 10 OEMs of auto industries and more than 200 auto component manufacturers are present in Madhya Pradesh. Many big and small units of OEMs and ancillaries required for commercial vehicle manufacturing are also operational. The support infrastructure required for the auto sector such as ‘Indo German Tool Room, Indore’, ‘The Central Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute, Budni and Auto Cluster Training Center and ‘Auto Testing Track NATRAX’ etc. are also available in the state. Automobile engineering, electric vehicles and electric vehicle components are among the focus sectors of the state government and a focused policy for electric vehicles is also being brought soon. To encourage the manufacturing of electric vehicles, the state government is setting up an EV dedicated industrial area near Indore and EV commercial vehicles and two wheelers and three wheelers are also being manufactured in the state.
