Bhopal. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that fulfilling the expectations of the public is the top priority of the government. He said that Rewa is a rapidly growing city. Traffic pressure in the city has increased rapidly. To control this pressure, construction work of flyovers, ring roads, bypasses etc. is being done on priority. He said that the work of making Rewa’s bypass a four-lane at a cost of four hundred crore rupees will also be started soon. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Shukla inaugurated the third leg of the flyover bridge built at Sirmaur Chauraha, the heart of Rewa city. The third leg, constructed at a cost of Rs 29 crore 61 crore, has been built from Sirmaur Chauraha to Sirmaur and Bodabagh road. Rewa city has got a big gift with the completion of this construction work, which will reduce traffic pressure.
He said that along with infrastructure development in Rewa, expansion is being done in the field of health and education. Employment resources will be provided to the youth by constructing an IT park. On the demand of local public representatives, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed the officials of the Public Works Bridge Division to prepare a DPR for the construction of a flyover from Sirmaur Square to Super Specialty Hospital. He congratulated all the people involved in the construction work for completing the third leg work at Sirmaur Square eight months before the scheduled time.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla inaugurated the flyover third leg construction work by cutting the ribbon and unveiling the plaque. He garlanded the statue of Subhash Chandra Bose at Subhash Tiraha. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla inaugurated the newly constructed Shiv Hanuman temple at Bodabagh Road and performed puja and participated in the bhajan program. MP Shri Janardan Mishra, MLA Mangawan Engineer Narendra Prajapati, District Panchayat President Mrs. Neeta Kol, former MLA KP Tripathi along with local public representatives and departmental officials were present.
