Bhopal. Forest and Environment Minister Ramniwas Rawat administered the oath of cleanliness to the villagers present during the program organized in village Tiktoli under Swachhata Seva Pakhwada. In this program organized under the joint aegis of Forest Department and Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Safai Mitras of district Karahal area were also honored. On this occasion, Forest Minister Shri Rawat honored the male Safai Mitras by presenting shawls and coconuts and the female Safai Mitras by presenting sarees.
Forest Minister Shri Rawat said that Swachhata Seva Pakhwada is being celebrated from 17 September to 2 October, on this occasion he appealed to the people to be aware of community cleanliness along with personal cleanliness. At the beginning of the program, Forest Minister Shri Rawat was welcomed by the villagers by tying a turban and the villagers presented a replica of leopard made of woodcraft as a souvenir.
Housewarming ceremony was conducted by visiting the house of beneficiary under PM Awas Yojana
Forest and Environment Minister Shri Ramniwas Rawat visited the house of beneficiary Shri Chimman Adivasi in village Tiktoli under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana and performed housewarming ceremony. On this occasion, he also symbolically handed over the keys of the new house.
