UTTARAKHAND: Former Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand, Radha Raturi, has now taken over as the Chief Information Commissioner. The government has officially issued a notification regarding her appointment. For context, Raturi’s tenure as Chief Secretary ended on March 31. Former CS Radha Raturi becomes Chief Information Commissioner Radha Raturi has been appointed as the Chief Information Commissioner by the Governor. Her appointment will be effective from the date she officially assumes charge. She will hold the post either for a period of three years or until she turns 65, whichever comes first. It’s worth mentioning that Radha Raturi is the fourth former Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand to be given the responsibility of serving as the State’s Chief Information Commissioner.
