CM Dhami’s big statement on Nainital rape case, said- ‘The government stands with the victim’

Dehradun: Today, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held an important meeting at his home, where he made it clear that strong action needs to be taken against anyone breaking the law in the state. He specifically called for tough measures against the criminals involved in the recent case concerning a minor in Nainital. Additionally, he instructed the local authorities in Nainital to ensure the victim’s safety and provide complete protection for her family.

CM’s Firm Directives

The Chief Minister assured that the government fully supports the victim and her family. He also ordered officials to quickly identify anyone spreading false information or rumors on social media and take serious legal action against them. He emphasized that any attempts to tamper with the land or identity of Uttarakhand will not be tolerated. Anyone—whether an individual or an organization—trying to disrupt the unity of the Devbhoomi (Land of Gods) will face strict consequences.

Ensuring the Safety of Pilgrims and Tourists

The Chief Minister further stressed the importance of keeping pilgrims and tourists safe at all times. He made it clear that any negligence in security arrangements will not be accepted. He also directed district magistrates to submit a report within three days detailing actions taken regarding tenant verification, unauthorized street vendors, land encroachments, and individuals who obtained certificates illegally.
