Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Bhoomi Pujan of Gau Mata Mandir Seva Sthal in Kapila Gaushala

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Monday reached Kapila Gaushala in Ujjain’s Ratnakhedi and performed cow worship amid recitation of Vedic hymns and performed Bhoomi Pujan of Gau Mata Mandir Seva Sthal. He also inspected the Gau Mata shed, public toilets and other development works being developed by the Municipal Corporation with a fund of Rs. 3.5 crore given by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. During this, Union Jal Shakti Minister Shri CR Patel was also present.

  Chief Minister Dr. Yadav had declared the year 2024 as the Cow Conservation Year. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s goal is to protect and promote all cows, prevent accidents caused by stray cows, upgrade indigenous breeds of cows, promote organic agriculture with organic manure. The state government has doubled the cow feed subsidy for cow conservation and promotion. Now, animals in registered cow shelters are being given a feed subsidy of Rs 40 per day.

     Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Skill Development and Employment Minister and District In-charge Minister Shri Gautam Tetwal, Shri Achyutanand Maharaj, Mayor Shri Mukesh Tetwal, Chairperson Smt. Kalavati Yadav and other public representatives were present.
