Cheetah Nirva gave birth to five cubs in Kuno Park, another happy news arrived

Gwalior (MP News):  Cheetah Nirva gave birth to 5 cubs in Kuno National Park, Sheopur. Cheetah Nirva has given birth to 5 cubs in Kuno National Park, Sheopur. Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav shared this good news on his X account. However, Naiduniya had already given this information in the issue of 26 April that Nirva has given birth in Kuno, at that time only two cubs were seen. It is told that during the delivery, the team monitored from a distance and then three more cubs were seen. Now the number of cubs in Kuno has increased to 19. There are a total of 12 cheetahs in Kuno and Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary.

Nirva became mother for the second time: Cheetah Nirva had earlier given birth to two cubs on 25 November 2024, but those cubs were found dead. Now, Nirva has become a mother for the second time. Earlier in Kuno, Jwala had given birth to 5 cubs, Asha to 3, Gamini to 4 and Veera to 2 cubs each.

Two leopards sent to Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary: One of these cubs, Mukhi, is now two years old, and many cubs are up to one and a quarter years old. There are now a total of 12 leopards in Kuno, out of which two leopards Prabhash and Pavak have been sent to Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary.

Age and history of Nirva: 7-year-old Nirva cheetah was brought to Kuno from Mapus Reserve in South Africa.

Chief Minister congratulated: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav shared this good news on X and congratulated the team of Kuno National Park. He said that this is the success of India’s biodiversity conservation efforts and an important step towards nature conservation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
