Bhopal’s Acharpura to have a non-woven fabric manufacturing industry worth Rs 126 crore
Bhopal. The world’s reputed multinational company TWE-OBT will set up a non-woven carpet, rugs etc. manufacturing industry worth Rs 126 crore in the Acharpura industrial area of the capital Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will perform Bhoomi Pujan in its Acharpura today.
This multinational company manufactures international level non-woven fabric and other products. More than 250 local people will get employment from this industry. This industry is being set up in an area of 38 thousand square meters in Acharpura and production will start from September 2025. This will be the first manufacturing unit of its kind in India, which will set records of green industrialization.
This unit will develop high-grade technical skill sets among the local people. The establishment of this industry will generate a revenue of Rs 230 crore. Along with sales in the state, its products will also be exported. The state-of-the-art building structure of this unit will be durable and US LEED certified. There will be no water and air pollution due to the manufacturing of products in this unit. The manufacturing of products (floor covering, flat floor covering, domestic felts, automotive felts, random velour, ADL, top sheet, backsheet, trunkliners, head liners, carpet baking, dashboards, acoustic insulation etc.) by world-class hygiene in this unit will reduce dependence on products imported from China. This industry will supply many products used in the National Technical Textile Mission (NTTM) and National Health Mission (NSM) of the Central Government.
