Betul patient Sheklal sent to Bhopal by air ambulance for treatment

Bhopal. Mr. Sheklal Harle, a resident of Chakola in Betul, was airlifted from Betul district at 11.44 am on Wednesday and admitted to Hamidia Hospital Bhopal for treatment under the PM Shri Free Air Ambulance Scheme started on the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. It is noteworthy that the facility of free air ambulance has been started in the state with the aim of providing immediate relief to patients in emergency situations. Mr. Harle is the 13th patient to benefit from the PM Shri Free Air Ambulance Scheme in the state.

51-year-old Sheklal Harle, a resident of village Chakola in Patan tehsil of Betul, fell a day earlier while plastering the balcony. Mr. Harle suffered a spinal fracture due to the fall and was referred to Bhopal Hamidia Hospital in view of the complexity of the operation. Under the leadership of Collector Mr. Narendra Kumar Suryavanshi, the district administration made preparations to send Mr. Harle by air ambulance. Due to this, the patient Mr. Sheklal was airlifted and brought to Bhopal for treatment in a short time. Where Mr. Sheklal’s treatment has started under the supervision of senior doctors.

The family expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

The family of Mr. Harley expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and said that the facility of Air Ambulance Scheme run in the interest of patients is proving to be a ray of hope for the lives of the poor. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Uike said that normally it takes 4 to 5 hours to travel from Betul to Bhopal. But this distance will be covered in just 35 minutes by air ambulance. Due to this facility provided by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, air ambulance was available only to financially well-off patients till now. The expenditure on air ambulance is borne by the state government.
