
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav offered prayers on the occasion of Janmashtami at the ancient Amka-Jhamka temple located in Sardarpur tehsil of Dhar district. This temple associated with the Dwapar era is believed to be related to Lord Krishna and Rukmini Haran. The Chief Minister first visited the Dwapar era site and prayed at the Ambika Mata temple and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the state. After this, he also visited the Chamunda Mata temple.
Participated in the Matki breaking program The people and public representatives present in the temple premises honored Chief Minister Dr. Yadav by presenting him a traditional mace. In the Janmashtami program, the Chief Minister caressed the cow calf and participated in the Matki breaking program and boosted the enthusiasm of the people.
