Madhya Pradesh is rapidly developing industries on the lines of Gujarat: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is the most favourable state for industrial investment due to its location in the centre of the country, availability of labourers, co-operative citizens, road and other transport facilities, simplicity of administrative processes. Gujarat is an ideal for us. Madhya Pradesh is also working on the development of industries on the lines of Gujarat. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that recently, prompt action was taken on the initiative taken by Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) in Bengaluru to set up a metro and rail coach manufacturing unit in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh and a decision was taken to allocate a total of 60.063 hectares of land without any delay. This is the latest example of the transparent policy of the state for industry promotion and investment growth. Madhya Pradesh is involved in the healthy competition by implementing policies favourable to industries, for which Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is striving. He has recently set an excellent example of strong leadership by giving a befitting reply to Pakistan. ‘Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Textile Expo in Indore on Friday evening.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the entire scenario of the country has changed due to the policies of Prime Minister Shri Modi. It has been the Indian culture to give importance to the human side along with the development of industries and earning money. In the difficult times of Corona, Prime Minister Shri Modi worked to save the lives of people in many countries. This is a glorious page in the history of India. The leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi in the implementation of Operation Sindoor and the courage of the Indian Army is a matter of joy and pride for all of us. Just as each thread has its own importance for weaving a cloth, in the same way, in times of crisis, all the citizens of India have been at the forefront in showing unity without any discrimination. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that factories are like temples for us. Just as temples and shrines are the center of devotion, factories are run with the sacred intention of benefiting a large section of society. A special campaign is going on in Madhya Pradesh to make industries benefit from the favorable policies and good governance implemented by the government. The industrialists who come to Madhya Pradesh become residents of this place.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that last year regional industry conclaves were organized in all the divisions of Madhya Pradesh. After this, Global Investors Summit was successfully organized in Bhopal in February this year. These efforts were successful in bringing investment of more than 30 lakh crores. Now industry promotion programs are being organized keeping in mind various sectors. This sequence will continue. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Indore is a city of cleanliness, taste and good governance. A new history will be written in the textile sector in the state. Indore will be its main center. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Indore Metropolitan Area will be developed by combining Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, Maksi etc. areas. Infrastructure development will increase civic amenities. The state government will realize the resolution of overall development of Indore region, one of the two big metropolitan areas of the state.

Disputes between states are being resolved Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there have been disputes on water, land and crop issues from South India to other states. But, now these are being resolved under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi. Madhya Pradesh has resolved the disagreements related to the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal (PKC) project pending for years by communicating with Rajasthan. For the development of the nation, Prime Minister Shri Modi is doing a historic work of ending the mutual disputes between the states. Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh informed that an enabling, favourable and competitive industrial environment has been developed for investment in the state. The state is not only power surplus, but green energy contributes 30 per cent of the total power supply. Special infrastructure facilities have been developed for the textile sector, which include abundant availability of water, SCADA-controlled utilities, Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) with Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), 220 kV substation and 20 MLD water supply. The Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Dhar is moving towards becoming the most cost-efficient and highest return integrated textile park in the country, where 100 per cent land has been acquired.

Principal Secretary Mr. Singh informed that Madhya Pradesh is the only state in the country where 4 industrial corridors are operational and one is proposed. With the presence of six Inland Container Depots (ICDs) and national level institutes like NIFT Bhopal, NID Bhopal, IITDM Jabalpur and Global Skills Park, the state is able to develop a strong and modern value chain. Under the MSME Development Policy 2025, extensive assistance provisions have also been made to promote exports and global competitiveness. Mr. Singh said that Madhya Pradesh has a better environment for investment. Industrialists will not have to worry about anything here. Here, provision has been made to give all permissions within the stipulated time limit through Lekh Seva Kendra. Here, an industry can be started in 30 days and special additional incentives are given in the textile and garments sector. Honoring the industrial contribution and environmental vision of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Metexil Chairman Mr. Shalin Toshniwal presented a memento and a shawl. Along with this, a pledge letter was also handed over to plant 25 saplings in Maharashtra and keep them alive.

“Export Potential Man Made Fiber Textiles, Home Textiles and Technical Textile Madhya Pradesh” Seminar Matexil’s Executive Director Mr. A. Ravi Kumar gave detailed information on Matexil’s journey from its inception to present. He also explained the outline of Bharat Tax-2026. Former Chairman of Metexil, Shri Sanjeev Saran, threw light on the role of Metexil and the relevance of events like Bharat Tex. Current Chairman Shri Shalin Toshniwal welcomed the guests and gave information about the upcoming plans of Metexil. In the seminar, representatives from textile industry from different parts of the country saw Madhya Pradesh as an emerging center from the investment point of view. In the technical sessions, experts from the textile sector shared their business experiences on the export possibilities of manmade fiber textiles, home textiles and technical textiles from Madhya Pradesh. Mr. Prashant Agarwal (Managing Director, Wazir Advisors) and Mr. Dheeraj Shah, former Chairman Metexil and Chairman, Fairdeal Textile Park, Surat shared their business experiences. A short film on Fairdeal Textile Park was screened. Former Chairman of Metexil Mr. Sanjeev Saran expressed his gratitude. Urban Development and Housing Minister Mr. Kailash Vijayvargiya, Water Resources Minister Mr. Tulsiram Silawat, MP Mr. Shankar Lalwani, MLAs and public representatives and a large number of industrialists participated in the textile expo.
