Naxalites will no longer survive on the soil of Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, a resolution has been taken to end Naxalism from the country by the year 2026. To fulfill this, the Madhya Pradesh government is also working shoulder to shoulder with the central government. In this sequence, 64 police officers and employees of Police Force, Hawk Force and Special Armed Force, who were involved in Naxal encounters in Balaghat district recently, have been given promotion in advance. This important step of the state government will boost the morale of the policemen. Promotion in advance is a golden moment in police history. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Balaghat was once included in the list of 12 districts most affected by Naxalism. Due to the intention of the government and the hard work of the police, now the central government has removed Balaghat from the category of serious problem and placed it in the other category. The decline in Naxal activities in Balaghat is commendable. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the promotion in advance promotion decoration ceremony organized in Lanji of Balaghat on Monday. He congratulated the promoted police officers and employees by putting badges on them.
The state government is capable of dealing with Naxalites
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the Indian Army defeated Pakistan in a 4-day war. An anti-Naxal campaign is being conducted across the country under the leadership of Home Minister Shri Shah. To strengthen this campaign, Madhya Pradesh Police is being equipped with modern weapons and technology. The state government is fully capable of dealing with Naxalites. This decoration ceremony on the land of Balaghat is a direct message to the Naxalites that they should surrender or else they will be killed. The bloody game of Naxals will no longer run on the land of the state. He said that today the brave police personnel are being honored in Balaghat. Policemen protect the citizens by putting their lives at stake. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while paying homage to the 37 brave policemen who made the supreme sacrifice, said that whoever is born, his death is certain, but the death should be such that the country, state and society are proud of it.
Inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs 169 crore in Balaghat
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited the exhibition of development works done in Balaghat district under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan at the ceremony. He inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 93 development works costing Rs 169 crore. These include Ayurvedic College. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav laid the foundation of the 51st Ayurvedic College of the state in Balaghat. On this occasion, MP Smt. Bharti Pardhi, MLA Lanji Shri Rajkumar Karrahe, MLA Warasivani Shri Vicky Patel, MLA Shri Rajkishore Kavre Nanu, MLA Shri Gaurav Pardhi and former minister Shri Pradeep Jaiswal were present.
Balaghat is full of mineral and water resources
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Balaghat is full of mineral and water resources. There are deposits of copper and manganese here. It is a matter of pride for us that Balaghat’s Chinnor rice has received the GI tag. Along with the elimination of Naxalites in Balaghat, development work is also going on continuously. There is a lot of wealth related to Ayurveda here. Nursing and paramedical courses will also be run in Ayurvedic College. There was a time when till 2002-03, there were only 5 allopathy medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Now their number in the state is 30. Apart from this, 8 more new medical colleges are going to be opened.
The first road in the country is being built in Balaghat under PM Janman Abhiyan
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that emphasis is also being laid on road development in Balaghat. Under PM Janman Abhiyan, the first road in the country is being built in Balaghat, which is 23 km long. Our government is trying to improve the life of the poorest of the poor by giving houses to the homeless. An agricultural fair will be held in Narsinghpur on 26 May. Many important information will be provided to the farmers here. The state government is making arrangements for storage and processing of tomatoes and other vegetables. Farmers have been benefited by purchasing wheat from them at Rs 2600 per quintal. The campaign is going on till June 30 for water conservation and promotion. All water sources including ponds, rivers, wells, stepwells are being conserved in Balaghat.
Efforts are being made to provide employment to the youth in the village itself
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the irrigation area will increase due to river linking projects. The state government is giving more than 30 lakh solar pumps to farmers at just 10 percent of the cost. Farmers will be benefited by purchasing additional electricity from them. The state government has started Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana to give more benefits to farmers. Farmers should increase their income from milk production along with farming. The government will buy milk, farmers will get money daily. A target has been set to increase milk production in the state from 9 percent to 20 percent. Along with this, the government has increased the grant per cow for cow shelters from Rs 20 to Rs 40. The state government has also started Vrindavan Gram Yojana. Efforts are being made to provide employment to the youth in the village itself.

Balaghat in-charge and School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh said that the policemen who got promotions in the order today have made the state proud with their sacrifice and spirit of service. This is a message that the government encourages those employees who do better work. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is a well-wisher of the employees of the state and constantly worries about them. He is also constantly making efforts for the development of tribal brothers and sisters. The state government is bringing various development works on the ground. There was a reward of Rs 1 crore on the Naxalites killed in Balaghat
Director General of Police Shri Kailash Makwana said that Balaghat is battling Naxalism since 1990. Efforts are on to completely eradicate Naxalism by 2026 as per the resolution of the Central Government. New police camps have been established in Balaghat along with the appointment of new police officers. The Central Government has downgraded the category of Balaghat and Dindori in the Naxal problem. Today, policemen involved in 4 different cases have been promoted. Recently, 4 female Naxalites were killed in an encounter. A reward of more than 1 crore was declared on the Naxalites killed recently in Balaghat.
300 years old step well was re-inaugurated after renovation
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on Monday inaugurated the new form of the 300-year-old historical stepwell located in the ancient Ram temple complex in Lanji development block of Balaghat district under the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan after its renovation. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav paid homage to the historical importance of the stepwell complex by performing ritualistic worship and also visited the stepwell after visiting the premises. The district administration has renovated the stepwell by doing shramdaan under the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan. This historical stepwell was built by Gond ruler Shri Hattesingh Valke between the 17th and 18th centuries. Built with stone steps and 12-inch bricks, this stepwell has been the main source of religious activities related to the Ram temple and drinking water for the soldiers and devotees of the fort in the past for a long time.
