
Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister and Sagar District In-charge Rajendra Shukla inaugurated the Tele Medicine Center in Bundelkhand Medical College Sagar. He said that now the patients will be able to talk directly to the specialist doctors and get proper treatment. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that the crowd in the Primary Health Center and Community Health Center and the number of calls coming to the Tele Medicine Center established in Bundelkhand Medical College will act as a performance audit of BMC. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that the Tele Medicine Scheme is a priority scheme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda. Through this scheme, the suffering people of every village will be able to get free advice from subject expert doctors and they will be treated on time. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla directed that tele medicine facility should be started in all community health centers and primary health centers, especially in Arogya Mandirs. The list of doctors should be pasted and their phone numbers should also be made available to the concerned CHO, BMO so that if needed, their treatment can be given immediately through tele medicine / video conference / virtual medium.
Deputy Chief Minister talked to the patient and doctor through tele medicine facility. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla inaugurated the tele medicine center and on the spot talked to Dr. Rahul from Primary Health Center Barkoti and the patient present there through video conferencing, took information about their treatment and learned about the tele medicine facility. During this, Tele Medicine Nodal Dr. Bhupendra Rohit took information about the blood pressure, sugar and pain of the affected person, asked other questions and asked the concerned person to get blood tested and also told the necessary medicines. BMC’s Dr. Ramesh Pandey said that Dr. Ruchi Jaiswal, Dr. Ankit Jain, Dr. Dinesh Jain, Dr. Piyush Jain have been appointed for tele medicine. If needed, more specialist doctors will be available for tele medicine facility. MLA Shailendra Jain talked about the need of modern machinery and specialist doctors for heart disease in Bundelkhand Medical College Sagar. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that the government is taking action to provide services on PPP mode on this subject, a decision will be taken soon and Sagar residents will also be able to get treatment for heart disease. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla discussed in detail about other facilities in Bundelkhand Medical College. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Mamta Timori, Dr. Manish Jain, Dr. Saurabh Jain, doctors from all departments of the medical college and local public representatives were present.
