Service to the Suffering Humanity and Support for the Needy: Ramakrishna Seva Sansthan, Says Deputy Chief Minister Shukla

Bhopal, November 17: Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla stated that the Ramakrishna Seva Sansthan in Rewa has become a beacon of hope for suffering humanity and the needy. He emphasized that connecting with such institutions helps foster human qualities like compassion, kindness, and altruism. He urged the public to get involved with these organizations and contribute to making India a global leader.

Shukla was addressing the annual ceremony of the Ramakrishna Seva Sansthan in Rewa on Sunday. He noted that Swami Vivekananda showcased India’s pride, culture, and eternal traditions to the world. Swami Vivekananda’s prophecy of India becoming a global leader is now coming to fruition. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the country is moving towards becoming a progressive nation, and in the future, India will lead the world.

He advised people to be cautious of forces trying to divide the country in the name of religion and caste. He stressed the importance of protecting society from distortions, ensuring that prosperity comes without any negative impact. Institutions like these help guide people towards meditation, spirituality, and their cultural roots. He also called on everyone to stay away from substance abuse. Shukla highlighted a significant achievement for the Ramakrishna Seva Sansthan in Rewa, stating that it has now affiliated with the Vellore Mutt, which will benefit both the institution and the region. This affiliation will help expand the institution and allow more people to join in service.

During the ceremony, Swami Gundanand, Swami Raghavendranand, Swami Manglapradhanand, and Swami Pararupanand also gave their blessings. Swami Atma Shraddhanand and Swami Nirvikalpanand Maharaj praised the service work of the Ramakrishna Sansthan in Rewa. The managing trustee, Raghavendra Mani Tripathi, presented the annual report, while Professor N.P. Pathak gave the welcoming address. Notable attendees included Dr. Prabhakar Chaturvedi, president of the Red Cross Society, Professor P.K. Sarkar, Surendramani Tripathi, Subhash Srivastava, Dr. P.K. Lakhtakia, and Subratmani Tripathi, along with a large number of intellectuals and social workers associated with the institution. During the event, clothes were also distributed to the needy.

Resolve Electrical Issues Promptly: Shukla

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has instructed the officials of the Electricity Board to address electrical issues promptly. He emphasized the need for immediate action regarding complaints about transformers burning out or malfunctioning and to ensure their replacement. He also directed that faulty cables be replaced without delay. Shukla issued these instructions during a meeting with officials at the Raj Niwas Circuit House in Rewa. He also urged them to expedite the feeder separation work, stating that increasing manpower is essential to complete the feeder separation project on time.
