Special passenger train started between Dehradun-Lucknow, facility will be available till 9th November
To provide relief to the passengers during the festive season, the railways have given a gift to the passengers in the form of a passenger train. A special passenger train has been run between Dehradun and Lucknow. People returning to Doon after the festivals will benefit greatly from this train.
This time no special train was run from Doon railway station for the festivals. Due to which the passengers faced problems. There was no place to even put feet in all the trains going towards Purvanchal of UP and Bihar. Amar Ujala also prominently published this problem faced by the passengers in its October 31 issue. In this matter, DRM Moradabad took the matter seriously and informed the senior officials of the railways.
Finally, a special train was approved on Thursday. According to Aditya Gupta, Chief Commercial Manager of Railways, a special train has been started operating from Dehradun. This train will leave from Doon railway station at 6:15 pm and will reach Lucknow. This train will operate from Dehradun till November 8 and from Lucknow till November 9.
