All eligible beneficiaries will get the benefit of individual schemes of Central and State Government in Naxal-affected districts
Chief Secretary reviewed the progress of Niyyad Nella Nar Yojana
Raipur. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain today conducted an in-depth review of the basic facilities being provided to the residents of Kanker, Dantewada, Narayanpur, Bijapur and Sukma districts of Bastar division under the government’s ambitious Niyyad Nella Nar Yojana at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan here. Mr. Jain has directed to benefit 100% eligible beneficiaries under the selected schemes of Central and State Government in Naxal-affected districts Mohla-Manpur-Chowki, Gariaband, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai and other Naxal-affected districts.
The Chief Secretary has directed the officials to keep the data of beneficiaries of all basic facilities and welfare schemes of the people in the villages covered under Niyyad Nella Nar Yojana. He said that all the departmental secretaries providing the facility should have updated information of every household in all the districts about the action plan and the facilities being provided. The Chief Secretary directed the Food Department officials to monitor that all the beneficiaries in the villages of the scheme area get rice, jaggery, sugar, gram etc. on ration cards. Mr. Jain has also directed the Bastar Divisional Commissioner to continuously monitor the Niyyad Nellnar scheme.
In the meeting, information was taken from the collectors of the districts about collective and individual forest rights lease, 500 units of free electricity, Kisan Samman Nidhi, agricultural equipment, irrigation solar pump and borewell facility in the farmers’ fields. Similarly, information was also taken about high mast light, free gas connection under Ujjwala scheme, free food grains, drinking water, tap water, Jal-Jeevan Mission, skill development training and sports material, Prime Minister and Chief Minister’s residence, facility of perennial roads, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, mobile connectivity including Ayushman card and bank ATM facility. The Chief Secretary reviewed in detail the status of Anganwadi Centres, Health Centres and school buildings in the villages covered under the scheme and other basic facilities including purchase of minor forest produce.
The Chief Secretary reviewed in detail the district-wise works of roads, bridges and mobile towers in Naxal-affected areas in the meeting. He also inquired about the progress of works approved under the MoRT Annual Plan. The Chief Secretary has directed the officers to work in a planned manner to benefit 100% beneficiaries from the selected individual schemes of the Central and State Government in all the Naxal-affected districts of the state. Similarly, in the meeting, surrendered Naxalites and Naxal victims have been asked to be saturated in various schemes and to prepare a comprehensive action plan regarding skill development and take action. He has also asked to saturate the residents of the new security camp areas with schemes and basic facilities and survey the beneficiaries so that 100% eligible beneficiaries are benefited from the schemes.
In this important meeting organized through video conference, Additional Chief Secretary of Home and Jail, Health and Family Welfare Department Mr. Manoj Kumar Pingua, Principal Secretary of Panchayat and Rural Development Department Mrs. Niharika Barik, Principal Secretary of Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department Mr. Sonamni Bora, Secretary of Agriculture Department Mrs. Shehla Nigar, Secretary of Public Works Department Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary of Education Department Mr. Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, Secretary of Women and Child Development Department Mrs. Shammi Abidi, Secretary of Public Health Engineering Department Mr. Mohammad Qaiser Abdulhaq, IG Mr. Bastar Ranj Mr. Sundarraj, Divisional Commissioner Bastar, Raipur, Collectors Kanker, Dantewada, Narayanpur, Bijapur, Sukma, Kondagaon, Gariaband, Mohla-Manpur-Chowki, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai and Superintendents of Police of all these districts and other departmental officers participated.
