The Delhi government is also cooperating in presenting this timeless creation in front of everyone. Earlier, Vikramaditya Mahanratya has also been presented in Hyderabad.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the reign of Emperor Vikramaditya presents an ideal example of good governance. He was the only ruler from whose life’s various incidents people still draw inspiration. The works and innovations done by him are still relevant today. At present Hijri and Vikram Samvat are in practice. In this Vikram Samvat is a Samvat that follows a liberal tradition, that is, the condition for the one who starts the Samvat is that only the one who has the ability to repay the debt of the entire public can start the Samvat. Emperor Vikramaditya made this possible with his good governance, encouragement to trade and business and farsightedness. Vikramaditya started Vikram Samvat in 57 BC after defeating the foreign Shaka invaders. Vikram Samvat has 60 different types of names. Samvat 2082 has been named “Siddhartha” in the resolution of religious rituals. These 60 names keep changing in cycles. Vikramaditya’s justice was propagated in the country and the world. This Samvat became an important scientific based calendar of Indian history, which is prevalent even today.

In India, the sovereign emperor Vikramaditya of Ujjaini has been an important pivot of the change of era and renaissance and the Vikram Samvat introduced by him is a very valuable heritage of ours. Vikram Samvat is not just a festival or New Year of the Hindu society. Vikram Samvat and Emperor Vikramaditya are an appropriate opportunity to awaken the pride of India, morale and consciousness of the nation. This is a nationwide campaign to establish India as a world leader by drawing strength from ancient traditions. Our Prime Minister Shri Modi has said that “this is the time, the right time…” It is India’s time in the world.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we know that foreign invaders and colonial historians carried out a campaign of systematic destruction of evidences, proofs and architectures of India’s pride and knowledge wealth. Evidences of their destruction of our wealth have been continuously found.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that for the first time a group of nine gems is seen in the governance system of Emperor Vikramaditya. All of these nine gems were experts in different subjects. They established a system of good governance. The nine gems were capable of running the governance smoothly in all circumstances. In the same sequence, the same system is seen in the system of Ashta Pradhan of Shivaji Maharaj 300 years ago. Vikramaditya is popularly known as the sovereign emperor of Ujjain. Today many archaeological evidences, writings, currency remains of Vikramaditya are found.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Emperor Vikramaditya’s generosity, bravery and sensitivity towards his subjects were amazing. Many such incidents are mentioned in the stories of Vikram-Betal Pachisi and Singhasan Battisi. All the rulers wanted to follow the ideals of Emperor Vikramaditya. Vikramaditya’s original name was Shashank, he was decorated with the title of Vikramaditya, the one who turns the reverse order into a formula was Vikram and the one who shines like the sun was Aditya. The sovereign Emperor Vikramaditya of Ujjain is a bright symbol of Indian identity. He was the conqueror of Shaka, the founder of Samvat, brave, generous, just, people-loving, and endowed with great truth. He was the catalyst of literature, culture and science.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Emperor Vikramaditya established the republic 2000 years ago, he never called himself a king. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also considers himself the chief servant of the country. The Madhya Pradesh government has established Vikramaditya Shodh Peeth 20 years ago, which is bringing out various facts by publishing books based on the life values of Vikramaditya.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Emperor Vikramaditya built temples in more than 300 places like Mathura and Ayodhya in his lifetime and also did not let anyone remain homeless. Just like the Vikramaditya era, during the tenure of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the poor are being helped to build houses. The security system of the country has been strengthened. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the country is becoming capable and strong. This is Ram Rajya, which was reflected in the Vikramaditya era.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government, while taking decisions related to public welfare, is trying to free the farmers from the burden of electricity cables by giving them 30 lakh solar pumps. Efforts are also underway in the state to make farmers debt free.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Emperor Vikramaditya built observatories during his lifetime. There is a reference to the construction of observatories in the present-day Iran region during his period. The achievements of his tenure should be written in golden letters. The historical sources available in the libraries of Iraq and Mecca mention the good governance of Emperor Vikramaditya and his good reputation in the neighboring countries.
