World record of Damru playing will be made in Baba Mahakal's procession

Bhopal. The scene of enthusiasm, excitement and devotion will be more spectacular in Baba Mahakal’s procession which will be taken out on the third Monday of Shravan-Bhadon month, 5th August. In the procession, 1500 Damru players will create a world record by playing Damru to the tune of Bhasma Aarti. A special performance will be given by the team of Damru players from Bhopal and Ujjain in Shaktipath and procession of Mahakal Lok.

Damru players will give a special performance at 11 am on Shaktipath of Mahakal Lok. The district administration and Mahakal management committee have ensured proper preparations for the Damru playing program. The teams of Damru players have been given special training by the Mahakal management committee, the final rehearsal of which was done on Sunday.

As per the wish of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, in order to further increase the enthusiasm and attraction in Baba Mahakal’s procession, after the performance of tribal artists and the performance of the police band of 350 soldiers, now a Guinness Book of World Record is going to be made for Damru playing in Baba Mahakal’s procession.

Lord Shri Mahakal will give darshan to his devotees in the form of Shri Shiv Tandav

On the third Monday of Sawan, Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar will go on a city tour in the form of Shri Chandramouleshwar in a palanquin, in the form of Shri Manmohan on an elephant and in the form of Shri Shiv-Tandav on Garuda chariot to know the condition of his subjects. Shri Mrinal Meena, Administrator of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee and Additional Collector, said that before the procession of Shri Mahakaleshwar Bhagwan starts, there will be a proper worship of Lord Shri Chandramouleshwar in the Sabha Mandap of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple. After this, Lord Shri Chandramouleshwar will go on a city tour seated in a palanquin. At the main gate of the temple, armed police personnel will salute the Lord seated in the palanquin. The procession of Lord Mahakaleshwar will also be broadcasted live on the Facebook page of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee.

Tribal artists will also spread the charm of art and culture

A group of tribal artists will also participate in the procession of Lord Mahakaleshwar through the Tribal Folk Art and Dialect Development Academy Madhya Pradesh Culture Council. On Monday, August 5, the Kathi dance group, a traditional folk dance of Nimar region of Madhya Pradesh, will perform in front of the palanquin in the third procession of Lord Mahakaleshwar, along with Bhajan Mandalis.
