Will work together with Rajasthan government for the development of Lord Krishna Patheya – Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan Government are unanimous in the context of Lord Shri Krishna’s Patheya. We will work together with the Rajasthan Government for the development of Shri Krishna’s Patheya. We will work in this direction by taking support from the Gujarat Government for the development of Lord Shri Krishna’s Gujarat Gaman Path. The Chief Minister said that the divine form of Lord Shri Krishna is praiseworthy, our government will also bring to light his other important aspects in front of the society. This includes incidents like Lord Shri Krishna receiving education in Ujjain, maintaining friendship with Sudama, love for forest dwellers and setting an example of Guru-disciple tradition. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing while chairing the meeting of the Subject Expert Committee regarding Shri Krishna’s Patheya at the Chief Minister’s residence (Samatva Bhavan) on Thursday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all the committees should be activated for the development of Shri Krishna Patheya. Archaeologists, religious leaders and good writers of Lord Krishna literature should also be included in this committee. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that apart from this meeting organized in Bhopal for the development of Shri Krishna Patheya, committee meetings should be held in Ujjain and Jaipur or Bharatpur or Braj or Chaurasi Kos or any other special place in Rajasthan. This will create a positive environment for Shri Krishna Patheya in both the states.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in ancient history, there is mention of Lord Krishna’s travel to many areas of India (Jambudweep). The committee should identify all those places of travel of Lord Krishna and document them. Ujjain’s Sandipani Ashram can be made the center point for the development and expansion of Shri Krishna Patheya. In the meeting, the committee members told that although Lord Krishna traveled to many areas of Mathura, Ujjain, Dwarika, Braj Mandal, Mewat, Hadaut, Malwa, Nimar, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Maharashtra to fulfill the goal of public welfare, however, Ujjain was the main center of his travel.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government’s participation in religious festivals has increased in the state. We have celebrated Shastra Puja on Dussehra, Govardhan Puja on Diwali and recently Geeta Jayanti. We have decided to implement liquor ban in 17 holy/religious cities of the state. This has sent a good message in the society. The committee members also gave important suggestions in the meeting. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government will work focusedly for Shri Krishna Patheya. In future, we will also connect other Leelas related to Lord Shri Krishna with this work.
Senior members of the committee including Minister of State in Rajasthan Government Mr Omkar Singh Lakhawat, former Director of Maharaja Vikramaditya Shodhpeeth Padmashree Dr Bhagwatilal Rajpurohit, Culture Advisor to the Chief Minister Dr Shriram Tiwari, Dr Shailendra Sharma of Ujjain, Dr Raman Solanki and all other members, Additional Chief Secretary in Chief Minister’s Office Dr Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Mr Anupam Rajan, Additional Chief Secretary Mr Sanjay Shukla, Principal Secretary Culture and Tourism Mr Shivshekhar Shukla and other officers were present in the meeting. Commissioner and Collector Ujjain also participated in the meeting virtually.
