War 2: Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War 2’ Promises International-Level Action

War 2: Yash Raj Films is working on the next installment in its spy universe, titled War 2, which is a sequel to Hrithik Roshan’s original film, War. This time, the film is directed by Ayan Mukerji, known for his work on Brahmastra. Alongside Hrithik, the film will also feature Jr. NTR, raising expectations among both the filmmakers and the audience. War 2 is set to be packed with action and thrilling fight scenes. To design the film’s climax, the makers have brought in Hollywood stunt directors. Reports suggest that the team will include three notable names: Spiro Razatos, Se-yeong Oh, and Sunil Rodrigues. Each of these professionals has an impressive track record, having worked on high-profile films. For instance, Spiro was involved in Venom, Se-yeong worked on Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Sunil contributed to the action in Jawan and Pathaan.

With these three on board, it’s clear that the action in War 2 is expected to be spectacular. According to a report from Mid Day, the shooting schedule for the climax is set to begin in mid-December and will last for 15 days. Filming will take place at Yash Raj Films’ studio in Goregaon, Mumbai, featuring intense hand-to-hand combat and chase sequences. Notably, these scenes will also incorporate heavy VFX, with additional sets being prepared in another studio in Mumbai for scenes involving the villain. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra, who is closely collaborating with director Ayan Mukerji to oversee everything from the set design to choreography. Reports indicate that Jr. NTR will play the role of the villain, and his fight sequence with Hrithik is expected to be particularly stylish, designed by a team of 11 stunt coordinators. Alongside Hrithik and Jr. NTR, Kiara Advani will also star in the film, which is scheduled for release in August 2025.
