Villagers of Bhelwan got banking facility due to initiative of Chief Minister Sai

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the new branch of UCO Bank in village Bhelwan under Jorandajharia Gram Panchayat of Farasbahar development block from Camp Office Bagiya today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister presented a cheque of 24 lakhs to 40 women members of self-help groups.

The Chief Minister congratulated the villagers on getting banking facility. On this occasion, he said that this step is important from the point of view of financial inclusion. This will greatly benefit the villagers of Farasbahar and its surrounding areas. Women will also be facilitated to become self-reliant. Local residents will now be able to get more facilities for daily bank related work.

Chief Minister Sai congratulated the women of 4 self-help groups of Jorandajharia of Farasbahar development block at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office Bagiya by presenting a cheque of 24 lakhs to provide employment to 40 women members at the rate of 6 lakhs each. It is worth noting that on the initiative of the Chief Minister, many efforts are being made to connect women with employment. Women are progressing in the field of vegetable farming and business. They are becoming self-reliant by joining the pickle papad, silk department and doing cocoon work and other employment.
