Tribute to martyr Bharat Lal Sahu: Mowa Bazaar Chowk will be named, Bhoomi Pujan for beautification work

The martyrdom of Raipur resident Shaheed Bharat Lal Sahu will always be remembered with respect – Rural MLA Motilal Sahu

Raipur – On 17th July 2024, while serving the country, STF constable Bharat Lal Sahu, resident of Mowa Bazaar Raipur, attained martyrdom due to being caught in the cowardly attack of IED blast planted by Naxalites during search operation in the forest of Mandi Marka in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. To make the sacred memories of his martyrdom everlasting, all the ministers of the state under the leadership of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister  Vishnudev Sai have decided to name Mowa Bazaar Chowk of Raipur city as Shaheed Bharat Lal Sahu Chowk. For the speedy implementation of the decision taken by all the ministers under the leadership of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister  Vishnudev Sai to name Raipur Mowa Bazaar Chowk as Shaheed Bharat Lal Sahu Chowk in the memory of Shaheed Bharat Lal Sahu, today Raipur Rural MLA  Motilal Sahu reached Raipur Mowa Bazaar Chowk falling under Raipur Rural Assembly under Zone No. 9 of Raipur Municipal Corporation and paid tribute to Shaheed Bharat Lal Sahu, resident of Raipur, by garlanding his photograph and bowing to him. Rural MLA  Motilal Sahu said that the martyrdom of Raipur resident Shaheed Bharat Lal Sahu will always be remembered with respect. Shaheed Bharat Lal Sahu is not only the pride of Raipur city and Chhattisgarh state but also of the nation. His martyrdom will give positive inspiration to the citizens of Chhattisgarh, including Raipur, especially the youth, to sacrifice their lives for the service of the country.

Raipur Rural MLA Motilal Sahu, for the speedy implementation of the decision taken by all the ministers under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai to name Mowa Bazaar Chowk as Shaheed Bharat Lal Sahu Chowk in the memory of Raipur resident Shaheed Bharat Lal Sahu, broke coconut and used a shovel to start the work of beautification of Mowa Bazaar Chowk at the approved cost of Rs. 27 lakhs by performing Bhoomi Pujan in the presence of Municipal Corporation Zone 9 Chairman Gopesh Sahu, MIC Member  Khem Kumar Sen, Councilor  Devdutt Dwivedi, dignitaries, social workers, eminent personalities, women, youths and common people. Raipur Rural MLA directed Municipal Corporation Zone 9 Commissioner  Santosh Pandey to immediately complete the beautification of Mowa Bazaar Chowk as per the approval and name it Shaheed Bharat Lal Sahu Chowk on priority basis by continuously monitoring it with quality.
