Chief Minister attended the Prana Pratishtha ceremony of the idol of Gurumata Purnima ji at Srikot Ashram

Raipur 3 February 2025: It is a matter of great pride for all of us that we are gathering at this holy place to pay tribute to the contribution of Param Pujya Sant Gahira Guru ji and Mata Purnima ji. He said that the life of Mata Purnima ji presents a unique example of complete sacrifice, penance and social service. Her idol is a symbol of her unwavering dedication towards the welfare of the society. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said this today on the special occasion of Prana Pratishtha of the idol of Purnima ji, the wife of Param Pujya Sant Gahira Guru, at Srikot Ashram Balrampur. Chief Minister Sai said that Sant Gahira Guru ji presented the best example of service to the society even while living a household life. He considered the service of the poor and the helpless as his ultimate religion and established the principles of truth, peace, kindness and forgiveness as the invaluable pillars of religion. Chief Minister Sai appreciated the incomparable contribution made by Sant Gahira Guru Ji in the upliftment of tribal communities. The Chief Minister greeted the people of the area on this auspicious occasion and called upon them to work wholeheartedly to give a new direction to the society by incorporating the teachings of Mata Purnima Ji and Sant Gahira Guru Ji in their lives.

Chief Minister Sai said that on coming here, I had the good fortune of seeing the idol of the mother, seeing her live and beautiful idol, it felt as if she spoke at some moment. Remembering Gahira Guru Ji, Sai said that Gahira Guru Ji was a great saint of the tribal society, through whose teachings and sayings the whole society came to know the importance of true Sanatan Dharma. He said that the teachings of Gahira Guru Maharaj brought economic, social and educational improvement in the lives of the tribal community, which was lagging behind in development, especially in rural areas. Sai said that it was my good fortune that I kept getting the blessings of the Gahira Guru community. While being the MP of Raigarh, I had the good fortune of adopting the birth village of Gahira Guru Maharaj and developing it. Today the society is moving forward by assimilating his ideals. Sanskrit colleges are opening at various places and the tribal society is constantly moving forward. A large number of dignitaries of the tribal society were present in the function.
