Travis Head again wreaked havoc with the bat, thrashed England bowlers

Australia defeated England by 28 runs in the first T20 match. The hero of the match was Travis Head (59 runs). He thrashed England bowlers fiercely. The stormy batsman completed his half-century in 19 balls.

Scored 30 runs in Sam Curran’s over

He scored 30 runs in one over of Sam Curran. On the basis of Travis Head’s brilliant batting, the Kangaroos gave England a target of 180 runs, in response to which the English team was all out for 151 runs in 19.2 overs. Sean Abbott took 3 wickets for 28 runs.

Travis and Matthew gave a fast start

Australia’s opener Travis Head and Matthew Short shared an 86-run partnership. Head hit eight fours and four sixes in his innings. In 5.6 overs, Saqib Mahmood got him caught by Jordan Cox.

Livingstone did wonders with bat and ball
Australia’s innings faltered after Travis Head was out. At one point, the Kangaroos looked to be crossing 200. They were all out in 19.3 overs. After Travis returned to the pavilion, the Australian team could only add 93 runs. Matthew Short (41 runs) and Josh Inglis (37 runs) scored for the team. England bowler Liam Livingstone got 3 wickets.
