The state government will bear the burden of the increased premium in the Journalist Insurance Scheme: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has decided that the state government will bear the burden of the premium amount increased by the insurance company in the “Health and Accident Group Insurance for Communication Representatives” scheme in the interest of journalists. Also, the last date for applying online for insurance has also been extended from 20 September to 25 September.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the fourth pillar of democracy, journalist colleagues work day and night to serve the country and society in difficult circumstances. It was brought to my notice by various journalist organizations that the insurance company has increased the premium in the Journalist Insurance Scheme. Therefore, we have decided that the state government will bear the burden of the increase in premium rates by the insurance company in the Journalist Insurance Scheme. The premium will be taken from the journalists participating in the scheme as in the previous years. He said that the state government stands with the journalists at every step. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this during a discussion with the media.
