Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that today our resolution of many years is going to take a concrete form. We had taken this resolution with all the saints that we will make the water of Shipra river pure and clean and will stop the water of Kanh river from mixing with Shipra. Through the Kanh Close Duct Project, now the contaminated water of Kanh will not be found on any bank of Maa Shipra. The water of Kanh will be taken to the lower bank of Gambhir river, which will also be purified and the farmers around will get water for irrigation. In the coming time, at a cost of Rs 600 crore, a barrage will be constructed in Sevarkhedi and the water of Shipra will be lifted and taken to Silarkhedi and from there it will be released again in Shipra. Due to this, the water of Shipra will remain in Shipra only.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Kanh Close Duct Project and other Bhoomi Pujan and Inauguration program organized near Shani Mandir in village Dendia, Ujjain at a cost of Rs 817 crore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Kanh Close Duct Project to be built at a cost of about 598.66 crores in the program. Apart from this, Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of construction works worth about 217 crores were done.
Ujjain-Jawar road will be made four lane
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the construction of Ujjain-Jawar four lane via Nagda will be completed soon at a cost of 5 thousand crores. At the same time, Bhoomi Pujan of Ujjain-Indore Six Lane will be done soon. This sequence of development will continue with the cooperation of the saint community. No stone will be left unturned in development. He said that PM Shri religious tourism heli service will be launched on June 16, through which devotees will be able to reach pilgrimage places like Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar in less time. At the same time, passengers will also be able to avail the air service of Ujjain, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa, Indore, Singrauli, Khajuraho through PM Shri Tourism Air Service from Ujjain.
Free air ambulance service for Ayushman card holders
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that development work is going on continuously in Ujjain and the residents here are getting many gifts every day. The Chief Minister said that all the eligible persons must get their Ayushman card made, so that they can get the benefit of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Through air ambulance service, seriously ill Ayushman card holders will be taken to cities like Mumbai, Delhi for treatment in a short time. This service will be completely free for Ayushman card holders. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that saving the life of the sick person is our priority.
Development of Lord Krishna and Ram’s Leela Sthals
All the temples and all religious tourist places of the state including Ujjain and Indore divisions will be developed. Lord Mahakal’s Mahalok was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Since then, the condition of Ujjain has changed. Along with the people here getting employment, religious tourism has also been promoted. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the statues of Saptarishis located in Mahakal Lok which were damaged, are being made by carving solid stones by artists in Ujjain itself. They will be restored in Mahakal Lok soon. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the places which have witnessed the historical moments of the times of Lord Ram and Krishna will be developed.
Statue making factory to be set up in Ujjain
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a factory to make statues will be set up in Ujjain. The statues made here will reach every corner of the state and the country. This will provide employment to the local people. Statues will also be made here from brass. Puja-Paath material, God’s dress, utensils for worship will also be prepared in the state and made available in every corner of the country. The government has also added religious events in the curriculum of schools and colleges.
Kanh Close Duct Project will be completed on time: Water Resources Minister Shri Silawat
Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsi Silawat said that today is an auspicious occasion. I express my gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, after many years of sadhana, the resolution of purification of Maa Shipra is being fulfilled. Kanh Close Duct Project will be completed on time. He said that the irrigation capacity of Ujjain will be increased from 1 lakh 20 thousand hectares to 4 lakh hectares. Earlier in Madhya Pradesh, where only 5 to 6 lakh hectares were irrigated, now irrigation facility is being provided in 47 lakh hectares. Which will be increased to 65 lakh hectares by 2025. He expressed gratitude for the revival of water source ponds and renovation of stepwells under Jal Samvardhan Abhiyan.
It is worth mentioning that to prevent the sewage water of Indore and Sanwer from mixing with Shipra river through Kanh river, a barrage will be constructed on Kanh river near Jamalpura village and water will be diverted through close duct into Gambhir river downstream of Gambhir dam. Also, keeping in view the upcoming Simhastha, the designing work has been done for a water flow capacity of 40 cusecs as per the provisions. In which the sewage coming from the estimated population of Indore city and Sanwer urban area and the re-generation of water from the irrigation in the command area of Sanwer water lift project, the water coming from Dewas STP will be pumped and released into the Kanh river and diverted through a duct.
